No one saw the Suarez one so it's pretty simply expained. I don't understand anyones confusion about it. I'm sure they would have made this an occassion where they overturned a referee's decision if he said he saw it but did nothing mind. And that would be the right thing to do tbh. The rat faced cunt deliberately bit an opponent. He didn't just mistime a challenge. Tackles are part of football, his teeth should never be!

This is the crux of it tbh. That tackle on Hiadara was dangerous and obviously could have caused a lot more problems to him than Ivanovic could ever get from being bitten but while I think the tackle was wild it wasn't intended. You can't accidently bite someone. He intended to do it (however heat of the moment it was) and he's done it before. He deserves everything he gets.

Well I've downloaded the books so we'll see where I get with them.

I don't know if I've just forgot from season 2. I thought it was his own men from when they took the Stark castle. I'm getting very tempted to get the books like. It seems a lot of people have read them without it spoiling their enjoyment of the show and with how slow a reader I am I'll probably not get through the first book before the end of this series at least.

Film/moving picture show you most recently watched
David Kelly replied to Jimbo's topic in General Chat
I'd had a weekend on it tbf so it wasn't the film the sent me to sleep. It's definitely a head scratcher like. I had to read quite a bit online to make sense of it which isn't always a good thing but on this occasion I was quite happy to do it. If I didn't have so many other things to watch at the minute I'd have watched it again by now. -
I'd not picked that up like. I also can't work out who's got Theon prisoner.

After watching the first two seasons in one go it's probably easier for me to keep track of the character names but I still totally get what you're saying. It's not helped either by the way new characters appear regularly that the rest of the character know straight away but we the viewers aren't really given much of an introduction at all. Dennis Penis's character and particularly his mate who was in the last one are prime examples of this!

So we can't beat teams with more points and wins that us? Isn't that exactly what we did against Chelsea for one? It's fine to predict we will get beat, it's daft to not consider it a possibility given our campain so far and especially our last home game. I just can't understand anyone who thinks we have no chance. If we were playing Manure or Citeh I'd think a win would be highly unlikely but still far from impossible. Liverpool are no where near the standard of the top two (or six actually) so to think we can't win seems very strange indeed.

Last nights ep was excellent (if very short on nudity). The stories of Jamie and Daenerys are moving along very nicely.

Art Brut's is just a best of isn't it? Iron and Wine have a new one I think.

Mission far from accomplished there mate!

After the pathetic showing against the scum it's no wonder people are worried about every game we play at the minute. I can understand it and tbh I feel the same way myself to an extent. But these mickey mouse cunts are a mile away from being anything to worry about especially if by far their best player is out (surely he has to be!). We are more than capable of beating them if we put in a performance like we have on a number of games this year. Saying we have no chance is ridiculous really!

Shaney never created many chances (aside from that one two or three game spell he had). With Ben Arfa back around the team and Sissoko able to play wide (although I've not been massively impressed with him wide when we've used him there) there's no way Shane is coming back and no need to do it. As for Ameobi, other than the one goal, I understand he's not been impressive at the smoggies!

He wasn't even in our first eleven in the championship. I agree he'd definitely be getting game time now but no one would have him in their first eleven. He's a usefull member of the squad and I do feel for him but not a great loss to the team at the end of the day Actually for the team I suppose it's good this has happened now rather than after the transfer window. At least we know now we can't be banking on having him available.

Off the top of my head I'd say that Cabaye has probably scored as many or more freekicks that Raylor and I still remember that a lot of his corners were gash and we were crying out fo Cabaye to take them in his place. Classic case of a player becoming better when he's not playing! Our set pieces are wank but I really don't think that Raylor is the answer. It's about what we do (or don't) in training. I do agree that he did really well at leftback last season until Santon got into the team but if we're honest he'd got a little found out by the end (probably when he finally tried to get involved in the attack). He's a squad player, nothing else. He's flexible enough to play in a few positions but if everyones fit we've got better options in all of them. We've missed him in the squad this season but only because of the injuries and amount of games. Had we made the january signings in the summer and had a bit more luck with injuries, he wouldn't have figured much outside of cup games. I'm not wanting to knock him because like I said he seems a genuine kid but our struggles, his freekick against the unwashed and our poor set pieces are making people think he's better than he really is.
-
Shame for the lad who seems a good genuine bloke. But as it effects the team, well it doesn't much really. He's never been that good, championship level but with the ability to take a decent set piece (a lot of his corners were still shite but people tend to forget this). He wouldn't ever be in the first team other than through injuries.

I've had a very productive last two days off work

Finished watching season 3 of Boardwalk Empire. Possibly the best of the lot and unlike season 2, set's up lots of possibilities for the next season.
-
Saw James last night at the Academy. Second time I've seen them and they were awesome again.
-
Just started season three. It's off to a cracking start I must say!
-
Found out a relative died yesterday morning so that combined with those fucking pricks meant I hit the drink big style after the match which if I'm honest much improved my outlook!
-
Episode 3 has more tits and a very key (I'm assuming) ending. Still no sign of the ginger bird getting her kit off for John Snow though
-
Sissoko definitely looks like he's played too many games recently.

I don't buy all this blaming Pardew for not getting the players up for it. The players themselves have to take responsibility for that. They all know how important the game was and only one of them (Debuchy) turned up at all. Also while hearing he trotted out the excuse of tiredness is dissapointing, it's also probably exactly what Alex Ferguson would have done too. I'm not wanting to blindly defend Pardew and absolve him of all blame because we never seem to come out of the blocks fast enough in any game and you can only look at the manager there. Also bringing on Shola at half time and immediately humping long balls at him is nothing short of pathetic!
