Earlier on I was reading Adams wouldn't have the money from the Defoe and Diarra deals to use and was more interested in trying to keep the players there than trying to sign anyone new. We certainly can't afford to let him go especially not for the £2m they're talking here.
-
I think he's a better player than most give him credit for but in the end I wouldn't have him even in our current starting eleven so I wouldn't be bothered about losing him. If we can get his wages off the books and a couple of million it might well help with our transfers.
-
That might explain a few things but I've read today that they may offer him to West Ham to try and get Parker. Fucking hell if you were a Citeh fan you would have to be a bit pissed off when you're being linked with the likes of Torres and David Villa and then all of a sudden your attentions switch to Parker and Bellamy
-
I would go for Micheal Johnson, he seem to be out of favour and they are looking at other midfielders too so he might be worth a punt. Elano too obviously although I think he may be headed back overseas.
-
Explains a lot if he's down over a billion in a year.
-
Certainly is. After I downloaded the patch the copy I was using was knacked to so I decided to to buy a copy and start a new game.
-
Anyone else getting a load of injuries with the new patch? Particularly in midfield if memory serves. I suppose it could be my mifielder training schedule but it was fine before the patch.

I feared all the way through it that the ending was going to let it down and I suppose it was a little bit predicatble but I thought it was really well done and provided the emotional payoff that I wanted. -

Alvin And The Chipmunks - 5/10 not nearly as bad as I would have thought and CG chipmunks are actually really well done. Employee Of The Month - 3/10 nearly so bad it's good but in the end just so bad it's bad. Judgement At Nuremberg - 9/10 Brilliant film with an absolutelty stellar cast. Don't know how historically acurate it is but I really don't care. Tell No One - 9/10 Oustanding French thriller/love story. Both elements of the film work perfectly. One of the best new films I've watched in a long time (new as in the first time I've seen as I know this is a couple of years old). -
Fucking hell I thought I was depressed about us last night but this may make me suicidal.

Not half the player that Robert was for us. Your right there i was only making the comparison cos robert left after letting his gob go then pretty much vanished into the ether To be fair, Robert was 30 when he left, and with the odd exception, there's not many top-class wingers beyond that age. N'Zogbia is 22...I'd say Bernard's career would be a better comparison. And he's not half the player Bernard was. He had his faults but he still regularly played well (and in big games). Charlie has only ever showed flashes.

It will be like this except that we will not have players like Owen, Given, Jonas or Coloccini, or even Butt or Duff who were once stars. We will be a team full of Gutherie's and Shola's, players as average as they come. And eventually we will lose a relegation battle and fall to the level of the Leeds, Forrest, Derby etc. Team who were once great but no longer have anything to go for other than the odd promotion and then relegation dogfight that we might survive for a season if we are lucky. As long as Billy Liar owns the club that is how bad it will get.
-
You can't blame any player for wanting to get away from here at the minute but N'Zogbia has been a cunt virtually since he walked through the door. Any time anything has gone slightly wrong for him here the same old Arsenal shite has come out yet there's never actually been any sign of any Arsenal interest. And unlike Given, this twat has never backed up his mouth with performances on the pitch. People might say he should be pissed off with Duff being picked ahead of him but when he gets his chance he never performs anyway. He sticks his head down and runs when he gets the ball without any idea of where he is going to go. Players like Jenas get all sorts of stick from our fans for being shite and he's ten times the player N'Zogbia ever has been or ever will be. If we get good money for him I'd be delighted to see the back of him and tbh if he goes on the cheap I am well past caring.

Klute - 8/10 Cracking 70's thriller that shows how to use sex in a story far better than Basic Instinct ever could. Can't really get away with Jane Fonda though. The Fly - 7/10 Never seen this before and it's good but fucking manky. Buffalo 66 - 6/10 Weird film that I couldn't really see what the point of was but some cracking bits with Ben Gazara and Angelica Huston. -
The mans a clown so it's quite possible.

I don't believe Given deserves any stick over this one. When he spat his dummy out about not playing in the past you point the finger at him but not now. The club is a shambles and we have nothing to look forward to any more, Shearer wouldn't have stayed with the club in the state it is now. Players of the calibre of Given and Owen are going to be a thing of the past, championship players will be the norm and the threat of relegation will remain until we are in fact relegated. It's like the days of Seymore and McKeag all over again. If I was Ferguson, Wenger or Benitez I would be straight in for him but I couldn't blame him for going to Citeh or Spuds because while they are far from great, they at least are trying to push on. We look like we've just given it up as a bad job now.

So who is going to be the new Bright Toon thing?

Kadar looks quite promissing from what I've heard. -

Willie McKay: "Newcastle are going to spend big in January"
David Kelly replied to Ketsbaia's topic in Newcastle Forum
We're his plaything again. When were we ever that before? No chance. -
With the lack of passing in our team he can be a waste of time at time but look at the alternatives and you see how much we need his goals. What we need to do is buy a midfield but I'm sure that will be missed again in January while we spend fortunes on cover for the fullbacks (which I conceed is needed when you see Edgar and N'Zogbia there).
