In Bruges - 8/10 Cracking film best thing I've seen Farrell in. The bits with the fat Americans and when he smacks the dwarf are gold. Kung Fu Panda - 7/10 Much better than Ratatouile but not as good as the likes of Toy Story or Monsters Inc. The part fits Black really well. -
This sounds very promising. Sounds like he has a bit about him (pace, a golod engine, height) that might help him to adapt to.
-
No idea how good he is (the opinion of makems counts for nothing) but it would be worth it for comedy effect alone. The lad of Skunkers old source was Shepherd's son (I'm sure he said this last year after the clowns left town) so this might not be as reliable as his past rumours!

Great news that we've signed a right winger who isn't Larsson or Pennant and even better that it's an out of the blue deal. That lifts my spirits no end. Hope he's good but that he's a current Argie international has to be a good sign.

Happiness. Fucking hell it's as black a comedy as I've ever seen. -

Disturbia. Not bad although obviously not as good Rear Window. -
Number 5 in the UK charts: Hurrah! Top 3 still consists of Coldplay, Duffy and Neil Diamond: Bah! I imagine 90% of the people who have bought it will only listen to it a couple of time before giving up though!

First Snow. Guy Pearce as a bloke who gets told by a fortune teller that he has no future past the first snow. Not bad Pearce is good as always. Planet Terror. Brilliant, I thought it worked perfectly as was more fun than Death Proof. The Good The Bad & The Ugly. Arguably the greatest film ever made. Not a film but the last episode of Twin Peaks. Brilliant. How's Annie? -
Sigur Ros's new one. Pretty good.

Fucking hell this is getting more and more depressing by the day. We finally get rid of the fat man but manage to find the tightest billionaire on the planet who replaces a manager who is used to working with small budgets and replaces him with a manger who is good at spending. We really are a comedy club and it's no wonder people are thinking the worst. At the moment we need about £20m to simply pad out the squad and yet Ashley wants to challenge for honours with this amount. You know what, I think Torres might be right for once.

All them trailers you can't skip on Disney DVDs are a bastard like. It's alright she enjoyed them too. Although I'm going to have to find Tarzan for her now anarl.

The bairn is currently watching Toy Story.

Must get round to watching that, it's been Sky +'d since Christmas. John Carpenter season on Sci Fi next week I noticed last night while watching the magnificent Highlander. -
I found Fitzacaraldo painful and I have Aguire somewhere that I haven't got round to watching already so it doesn't really appeal to me.
-
First two albums were both excellent and the third would have been really good too if it wasn't so overblown. Since then they've done the occasional good song but the albums are patchy at best. The last one is shite though.

Someone at work is moving house and wants sky in the new house but as always sky are wanting to charge to move them over. I told him not to go along with this as all you have to do is cancel and re join at the new address under your lass's name as a new customer and as such you get all of new user benefits. He threatened sky with this and they said that you can't do this now as they go off the electoral role and would pick up the family tie and would end up charging them £200. This sounds like shit to me (I swapped at Christmas and had no problems). Anyone know if this is bullshit or true?

At the risk of losing a sale, I thought Bicycle Thieves was shite and I liked The 400 Blows. £2 each for the bottom 3. I'm generally going for half the lowest price available on the web for boxed sets, but that Griffiths one doesn't seem to be available anywhere any more. I'll say £8. If you can find it anywhere for less than £16 I'll half that price. Been to the post office about the ones you asked about yesterday.... first class - £6 Recorded - £6.50 Special - £8.50 Here's a pic of the ones you wanted so you know I've not just listed a load of DVD's I don't have, to scam people... As I said, £27 + P&P above If you want any of the extra discs above I'll pay the extra on the postage. Just PM me your address if you want to go ahead and I'll send you my email for paypal. Go on and add the bottom three, I'll leave the box set (not because I think the price is unreasonable but god knows when I would get round to watching them). Stick them on recorded and I will PM you my details.

How much for; DW Griffith set Bycicle Theives (baring in mind my thoughts on 400 Blows is it worth my while watching this as I get the feeling they will be similar?) Five Easy Pieces Taking of Pelham 123 I might add a couple to my selection from yesterday.

I thought you might say that about PDL which was pretty much why I stuck it in Multiregion is no problem so I'll take Mr Vengance but don't bother with the other two as it will just spoil it for me amd I haven't seen them before. I'll go with Toy Story for a tenner as long as it's in good nick but tbh I wouldn't pay more than that for any second hand dvd so if you want to try to hang on for more off someone I don't mind. I'll add Das Boot and Mean Streets. I'm asuming Dogville will be disqualified to. What's that take us up to? I like Dogville, but it's not comfortable repeated viewing so you can have it. Mean Streets is a harder choice, but go on. Toy Story is in mint condition. Right... Aladin £2 (you can't get it in shops anymore btw so I don't want to see you flogging it on Ebay for £20 ) La Dolce Vita £2 The Killing £2 Pusher Trilogy £2 Akira £2 Sympathy For Mr Vengence £1 Toy Story Box Set £10 Das Boot £2 Mean Streets £2 (Us version) Dogville £2 So £27 for that lot if you want. As I say, I'll find out the postage and let you know tomorow so you can think about it. I agree with that but if your willing to let it go I will take it off your hands. Aladin will be for the bairn so I be flogging it on ebay, those Disney dvd's are a right twat to get a hold of. We had to pay for a knock off of Sleeping Beauty for her and I managed to get Snow White and Beauty and the Beast via alternative sources if you knw what I mean. Ok that all sounds very reasonable to me, let me know the postage and we're on.
-
i'll give you £20 as is, can't be arsed to choose another. I'll put another one in as a sort of lucky dip. If anyone wants a £20 lucky dip of 10 suprise DVD's let me know. That mightn't be a bad idea as way of increasing my film knowledge although I think the selection I've picked will probably do that.
