I like the look of the new strip tbh but it's a long time since I stoped buying them. I still have the blue away strip (the one with the orange adidas stipes and the brewery sponser) but I would only ever wear it to knock about the house in now.

LCD are the only decent thing on.

Amadeus - Fantasic film (it must have been to get me to sit through three hours of classical music and opera) only let down slightly by the ending being a bit of an anti climax. -

I think 99% of people feel the same the first time. As I did. Love it now though. I'd agree with that. I couldn't stand it at first but when I watched it again recently (this time not expecting it to be something like Star Wars) I was mezmorised. It's a fantastic artistic achievement. I quite like Alien Resurection although it is clearly the weakest in the series and from what I've seen the directors poorest film. -

Scarface (Original) - Tbh I prefer the remake but this original version is good too and unlike the quite slow pace of the Pacino version it really speeds along. Paul Muni isn't in the same league as Pacino but George Raft is good as his best mate 'Little Boy'. -
Nobby by virtue of him being the only player who looks like he has a brain and his ability to pass and control a ball (I know these should be basic things but the rest of the squad are painfully lacking in these areas). He's also meant that we've had to see less of Carr in the side which can only be a good thing. Butt and Milner would be next on the list.

All the best you happy sod.

I know what you're saying but that doesn't explain or justify Dyer getting an improved deal last time round. It wasn't warrented on his performances but at one point he was being classed as a £10m-£20m player and the board obviously didn't want to lose that potential fee if his contract expired. As it happens his stock has fallen while we have paid him about £4m a year so now if we sell him the most we are likely to get back is the wages we have paid him in the last two years! We would have been better off just letting him leave for nowt and getting someone else in!
-
Once we started paying massive wages to the likes of Shearer it was inevitable that the rest of the squad and new players that we bought would start demanding something similar. Unfortunately the players we had and the players we bought haven't been in the same league in terms of quality so we now find ourselves in the situation where funds are much more limited, we have a load of players we don't want but can't offload due to their wages and any player we try to sign will be expecting a fortune to come here. It's a pretty depressing sitution when you think about it!

I'd be happy to get £8m for him like.

Children Of Men. Pretty good. -
It seems to be missing Sky Arts which has some quality films on. It had a couple of Fritz Lang films on last week!

Don't forget Uncle Buck & The Great Outdoors both of which piss all over Home Alone. -
Actually it doesn't sound right to me either but I can't be arsed to work it out. I suspect Fish got the notion from a similar headline though. Iirc travelling huge distances / achieving greater speeds is achieved by using the gravities of planetary bodies as a 'slingshot'. I'm pretty sure that's how Voyager, Voyager II etc. travelled as far and as fast as they did. The Planets was a quality doc series come to think of it. I thought it was some alien that took Voyager to the delta quadrant?

The bits with the family were the best. -
Shark is nice and I agree it does taste like Tuna & Swordfish. And Marlin!
-
Yet tuna does taste similar to swordfish!

I hates fish !!! Agree, Fish is crap, it all taste's the bloody same, differing only by the strength of fishy flavour -YUCK Shellfish (Prawns, langustine,Lobster and Crab) are canny though - NOT winkles etc, snot with a shell that shite Never heard anyone with that opion before. Most people seem to like some kind of fish (usually cod due to its plain flavour) but are scared of shellfish. Love them both personally like. You must agree that all fish basically taste's the same though, surely I hope in the "love them both personally" bit you're not including winkles Certainly not, some fish taste similar (Salmon & Trout or Cod & Hadock) but others taste very different (Salmon and Turbot or Bass & Monkfish). And no I'm not including winkles, cockles or whelks all of which are vile.
