The fat man has been critised too many times from within football for being too hasty in sacking managers so he will want to wait as long as possible so he doesn't look bad again. I watched most of The Shining on Friday night and I have to say I just cannot get my head round Shelly Duval. Is she supposed to be a mong and is it make up or does she really look like that. I cannot belive her as Jack Nicholson's wife.

Him & Martins would be a great partnership, in my opinion. Your optimism knows no bounds if your expecting anything great from Martins after what we have seen so far! While theorectically I understand where you're coming from, I still think expecting greatness from anything Martins is involved in is extremely optimistic.

Yeah I seen that too. I can't say that I'm too sorry about that in a way. I love the show but there's only so long you can keep going with it without it seeming unbelievable. Mind you, the mafia have managed to keep going a lot longer in reality so I suppose you could keep it going indefinitely in that respect.

What the fuck is going on with it? I've just seen that after the first 12 or so episodes were shown in America, they then broke and aren't showing the remaining 8 til early next year! When are we likely to see these and surely if they are waiting that long between episodes it's more like a new series? I struggle enough to remember what's gone on as it is. By the time the season finishes I'm likely to have forgotton what's going on!

It really pisses me off that I cannot for the life of me remember DK's goal against Pompy. I'm sure I was there but I cannot remember a thing about it. Ginola's volley against that Hungarian team in the wafa, Albert's chip or Shearea's volley against Manure are all highlights for me.

A lass I went to school with had something like this happen to her when she was about 12. I don't know if it was as bad or what but she did make a full recovery and you would never know it had happened now.

The first half hour was one of the funniest I have seen on telly ever. Cheryl changing Nana's bag was genius. I thought you could see Phil Mealey's infulence on it like. A lot of it was more obvious than it used to be, like Early Doors. Incidently I watched the last Extra's just before it and was pissing myself at that too. Robert Lindsey was fucking excellent.

From what I've heard Roeder's only job this season is to keep us up until Shearer takes over next season so I really can't see us spending much in January at all. Apparently Shearer already has a list of who he wants in so I would say any decent money moves would have to come with his approval.

I think we are going to be very close to relegation this season tbh. Any team who can't score goals is going to struggle and when you add that to our defence who are likely to gift goals every time they walk onto the pitch the future doesn't look bright at all. We also have a manager who doesn't have a clue how or when to change things (Solano did nothing after the first ten minutes of the second half but Milner wasn't brought on til the last five minutes or so) and when things don't go our way we start to lose our bottle. We pissed all over (an admitedly awfull) Charlton for the first hour or so but we didn't score then we fell to bits and were shite for the last half hour. All of this looks worryingly like a team that is facing the drop!

Syriana. I doubt it's anything I would ever watch again (it's took me since Easter to finish watching it because it's soooooo slow). But it's a really interesting look at how america conducts it's oil business.
