dwelled on the ball and caught in possession twice today, good game otherwise, that Carew is a handful, and Agbonlahor and Young are pacey as hell...

tight bastid, should have wiped the lot!

Craig Bellamy doesn't know the meaning of the word respect tbh. He's a horrible little twat. I'm not saying that Curbishley isn't a wanker, cos he may well be, but Bellamy will be an arsehole no matter who's managing him. yeah, but he's also a player, and you have to treat the arsehole in the right way, not just fuck it all up like Souness who got his hands dirty in doing so...

His old man sounds like a proper hero haha!

3 years time, the lad will be John Terry mkII but with pace....... no pressure Taylz =/

Bellamy wouldn't do that with Big Sam, the man commands too much respect. If he can get that disgrace of a person Diouf respecting him then Bellers would also. Same with Sir Bobby, he knew what Bellamy brought to the team (Shearer's legs!) and let him express himself, even the odd outburst; but I doubt Bellamy would ever have really disrespected Bobby.

Will be delighted if he signs up. I said before the season that I reckon he could be a Diouf in that he can be versatile in the wide forward roles. He's said that he doesn't mind being played out wide and has more time on the ball to do his thing and I think this is gonna be the best position for the lad. By the looks of last weekend he really wants to play for this club and I'm chuffed to bits. People say he can't do the simple things, fuck that. There are plenty of mediocre players who can do the simple things, I'd rather have a player in my team with the athleticism, flair and rocket of a shot he has who perhaps gives the ball away more than others, than 11 players who do the simple things well. Hope he has a cracker of a season wherever he plays, and I hope he signs up without the 13 million pound release clause, because if Darren Bent is worth 16.3 million, he's worth at least 25!

if the little twot doesn't get injured for England I'd like him to play all of wednesday at wembley and get a couple of goals for his confidence.

had a poor season with the german side which is why he's at Everton. No doubt he is a good player with an eye for a pass, used to enjoy watching him for Ajax. Gutted about Fernandes to be honest, looked a real quality player in the few games he played for Everton last season, especially in the big games like against United and Arsenal. I've said this before, I reckon he'll be a Madrid/Barcelona/Milan calibre player in few years...

How good does that look? EDIT: And no Jenas. Shocking. delighted Jenas isn't there to be honest, never done anything for me in an England shirt, so damned overrated, even when he was here I always preferred Dyer (the swine) to him in the middle with Speed.

Hope Taylz get's a half. Would be a fantastic experience for him at Wembley, one that I reckon his character will rise to. Good luck to him.

Allardyce aims to raise standards

He reminds me of the teacher at school that was fair but firm. You learned more from him because you respected him and he in turn treated his students with respect. To command this sort of respect as a manager is by far one of the most important traits for him to have. Jose, Sir Alex & Wenger all have this. -
Murphy: Goodbye Nobby, good riddance Kieron
bassplayerjj replied to acrossthepond's topic in Newcastle Forum
people forget about Nobby's nobbing about with another bird which is why his wife and kids went to London! Apart from this though that article was a good read and highlights the contrast between the two little'uns. Will miss Nobby, a real classy player. I hope we find someone that can serve us as well as he has for so long. -
David Beckham - Asshole, Asshole, Asshole

I reckon the keeper was paid to look wrong-footed! -
If we can't get that Belletti chap I've always liked Heitinga of Ajax. Chmaps league experience, international experience, and can play all across the back four.
-
I thought Boro were absolutely abysmal yesterday and are in real trouble for the season. They look awful, Southgate reminds me so much of Roeder. Fairly solid defender with a decent reputable career, should have been a geography teacher....

I'd rather we stick a bid for Riquelme in for around 12m euros or better yet hit up Van der Vaart for 14m euros. Everton are in no position to be selling now, and are in Europe so it would be a waste of time. I still have hope for Emre and Big Sam's ability to get the best out of him to be a creative force at the club.
-
I like Boothroyd, and I admire the spirit of his Watford team, if we showed half their spirit last year we'd have been in Europe again.

-----------------------Given Belletti(?)-----Taylor-------Rozenhal-------Enrique --------Geremi-------Butt-------Barton ---------------------Viduka -------------Owen-----------Martins ---------------------------------------------------- -------------------Harper Carr-------Cacapa-------Edgar-------Baba Milner------Faye(?)-------Emre--------N'Zogbia -------------Ameobi------Smith 2 XIs using 22 of our squad with Luque unable to get in =/ starting to look like a fairly decent squad if Belletti and Faye join. Hopefully with this lot and some luck with injuries we'll be in advanced stages of the carling cup and sitting comfortably in the top 6 come January =) oh, I forgot about Duff also, probably a few others as well, I need some tea...

got a feelin' they gonna be playing Bale at left mid, but an unproven in the prem 18 yr old left back for 10 million may be considered a gamble to some people.....the boy can cross a ball though...

People remember Arteta at rangers when he had the hair? what a ponce, fantastic player though =) Was awesome on Championship manager as far as I can remember (the very rarely get it wrong!). Thought Spurs were by far the better team at half time, they were playing some lovely football and 3-1 to Everton was a bit harsh. Nevertheless I hate Spurs, and really dislike Jol's arrogant and laid back demeanor. Wouldn't be surprised or upset if he was sacked before christmas.
-
I fucking hope so, really rate Barnes, he has shone in every one of the few Derby games I saw him play in last year.
-
to be honest I'd rather Ryan Taylor than Belletti. He's very suspect defensibely =/ if he gets Carr out the side then maybe he can win me over.
-
If I had millions I'd get a nice house in cheshire and fly to work on a helicop...ter.......hang about?!

I don't see BArton or Geremi as holding midfielders, in fact, they'd be wasted there. Geremi's distrubition (especially from wide areas) and Bartons tenacity and forward thinking is wasted at DM. I'd really like another DM in there pushing Butt for a place, ideally after we have bought a versatile right sided defender.
