  1. To be fair tho he almost got a poke in the eye
  2. 6 foot and around 16stone pre Christmas, I'm 38 and had 2 knee ops this year meaning very little cycling/squash and as off work a lot of boardom eating/boozing. All that said at 30 I played football twice a week and was also doing Thai Boxing and weighed 15 stone 3 pounds and felt reasonabley fit. I'm stocky build and looking on the net my weight should be about 12.5 stone, I weighed that at 15. Would need to chop my legs off to be that weight
  3. Rather get Bentley or another striker rather than a 35 year old dead ball specialist on mega bucks for 2 months
  4. Cant agree more. Hopes he's here for years to come. Might even manage us one day. Actually think he might make a cracking manager. He's got a good football brain. understands attack, defence and positioning. Is well liked my those who work with him and when ever you here what he has to say, its usually quite eloquent and sensible. Think he'd break a few tea cups though Calm down s bit mate, eh? LOL
  5. Playing the best he has in years and is a huge part of the team, not just his deliveries but his influence too. Would look into getting him signed up for another 2 seasons if I were Pards
  6. Just been listening to talksport on way to work and the ginger wum reckons Taylor is gonna jack it in at Bradford to join us as number 2. Decent coach, not bad if true.
  7. -------------------------Harps-------------------------- Simpson---Taylor-----------Colo--------Jose --------------------------Tiote-------------------------- Barton---------------------------------------Jonas* --------------------Nolan------Barfa------------- ----------------------------Carroll------------------- *if we sign a striker then can see Barfa there 433/451 system with Barfa in a free role Scary if we loose Carroll or Tiote tho
  8. Needs to learn how and when to cross, a must for a winger really
  9. I can see Ben Arfa being used on the left instead of Jonas more than off Carroll
  10. If its about money and not football fuck him, we've had enough of them with Owen,Viduka etc
  11. If we get him I'd happily say byebye to Routledge, clearly not good enough
  12. And if hes crocked? I cant see what is to be gained from it, there is an existing agreement that we can buy him after 25 games so whats spoiling? What would we have lost by waiting til we'd at least had him playing a few games post injury? Most contracts can be riggled out of, If Ben Arfa wants to play for us then strike while the irons hot, after the original deal it looks like O.M. are fuckers to deal with
  13. If the Ben Arfa deal is done I will be happy that its tied up now rather than waiting until the summer. I think Pardew is aware we need another striker judging by his comments and I hope Ashley backs him, reckon it might be a loan rather than a purchase. Would be surprised if anything else happens other than loosing a couple of fringe players like Best/Lovenkrands which wouldn't be missed
  14. Shit rb at lb and what do u expect, sell the cunt or loan him out. Let's get ranger on and have a go, Jonas his usual shite self too
  15. Redknapp was on talksport yesterday and said he wanted to keep van der vaart fresh for Milan, not sure when that is. Also no Defoe, maybe no Modric. Go with Ranger and have a go
  16. One if the main things is not to go over the agreed mileage as they charge any excess per mile. If you do less than 6-7 k per year then no probs
  17. On the whisky, wine and lager Christmas day, felt fucked yesterday but forced a few magners down, hardly ate then threw up. Still feel a bit shitty today. Definatley an age thing, never got 2 day hangovers in my 20's
  18. Retired.....Zidane, pure class Current.....Ronaldo, think he's a cunt but what a player
  19. Not made enquiries doesn't mean not signing anyone, he said he's looking at players
