  1. Redknapp looked a bit shifty when asked about Keane
  2. what about the Nolan? That's his spot.. WAS, maybe
  3. Cant see a striker coming in unless Houghton can unload one, either Best or Ameobi, maybe both but cant see it. I would hang on to Ranger tho`. Maybe he is planning on playing Ben Arfa as a support striker to Carroll
  4. SSN sources reckon we could be in the running for Santa Cruz, wouldn't be bad if true
  5. Ben Arfa DEAL errrrmm NO DEAL DEAL NO DEAL etc, etc, etc
  6. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/football/view/1...-and-Fabregas-/? Believe it when I see it
  7. Amazing what a very average footballer can buy and I do mean average, joke really. Is it a wonder these cunts don't give two fucks??
  8. You could say that about most of the team. A bit harsh but most of them do have a limited ability at this level which is a worry, I would say a massive effort and a great deal of togetherness is gonna be neded this season as we really do lack quality
  9. Is that the Royal we? I personally think the following will be decent enough PL players when they get used to it (again): Harper Williamson Saylor Enrique Guti Carroll Doubts over the following: Guthrie, Barton, Colo, Routledge, Nolan. I think Colo and Guti will do ok against lesser teams like Blackpool, WBA, Wigan etc but will be found wanting against top 8 sides. Was pretty impressed by Williamson but reckon he will make way when Sol is fit. Carroll has the raw ingredients to be a decent striker but our lack of creativity could break him over a season. I think Routledge will do okl, better than Guti anyway. Barton owes a good season but who knows what you are gonna get?, agree with the rest
  10. Smith is the only DM we have and he`s not really a DM more a failed striker who can run around and tackle/foul a lot Neither Barton or Gutherie are defensive players but it could be argued they dont do a great deal going the other way either
  11. When a manager has the balls to drop Lampard and pick players on form and play them in their correct positions then England may start winning
  12. ---------------James----------- Johnson--King-----Ferdinand--Cole Lennon--Gerrard--Lampard---Young ----------Rooney--Defoe---------- For the group stages anyway, against better teams then I would play a defensive CM, if we have one fit why James king and Defoe? Over say, the other keepers, terry and crouch? James is the most experienced and I think that matters in a keeper Terry has had some shocking games and king has been outstanding I just think defoe offers more quality than crouch
  13. ---------------James----------- Johnson--King-----Ferdinand--Cole Lennon--Gerrard--Lampard---Young ----------Rooney--Defoe---------- For the group stages anyway, against better teams then I would play a defensive CM, if we have one fit
  14. Had a week in a Log cabin in the Cotswolds 3 Nights in alton towers in June 5 nights in the lakes in August Week in a villa in Portugal in September late deal maybe Oct/Nov
  15. Shittu to leave via the back door to stop his career going down the pan "A new challenge is ex-laxly what he needs" says Megson Shittu " It`s dire-here"
  16. ----------------------------Harper-------------------------- ------------Beye----------Bassong----------------Colo -------------------Butt---------------Smith--------------- Jonas-------------------Barton-------------------Lovenkrands --------------------Martins-----Viduka------------------- We aint got a LB and I wouldnt have duff there against Liverpool, Lovenkrands and Jonas will have to put a shift in tracking back and looking to create things, honestly I think we will get rolled over but I would say the 3 in the middle wont shirk a battle be surprised if we finish with 11 tho`
  17. Hope he doesnt play 1 striker and try for a 0-0, there is no way we will not conceed against them, our defence isnt exactly great.I would have Oba and Vid up top but they proberbly wont get much service, pretty depressing really
  18. ---------------------------Harper--------------------------- Beye------------Bassong----------Colo-------------Enrqiue ---Jonas-----------Barton------Gutherie------Lovenkrands ------------------------Oba----------Vid----------------------- If enrique aint fit then play 3 Cb`s and drop Smith into a 5 man midfield. If we can only et 60 mins from Oba I would prefer him from the start tbh
  19. Aye, they used to have cheese cubes, mini pickled onions and bowls of peanuts on the bar on a sunday lunchtime. Probably stopped when the stories came out about the peanuts having traces of about 20 different peoples urine on them. My local still does that on a Sunday afternoon, Like to get early dibbs tho` as wouldnt like to follow some of the locals I like cheeselets, dry roasted or scampi fries while supping my pint

I can get 500miles on a full tank of petrol in my honda and thats driving about 60ish. Need a diesel though Cant praise it enough mate, Mines on an 02 plate but only had 45k on the clock, its the 130bhp version, loads of torque and build quality is great.
