Ah, the good old myth of having been "too good for the team". He's been gash himself for the majority of the time here. You can't blame the inaptitude of his team mates for his crucial misses and his lack of a brain in general.
-
Exactly. As good as someone over at Numpties-Online saying that most of our players would have done wonderful with better team mate. So yeah, if half the quad are capable of playing at a top team then it shouldn't be exptected to much to show the attributes necessary for playing at the highest level. But this is something nearly no player ever dd (an will do).

Unlucky.

New Olympiakos manager That is the best piece of ITK I've ever seen good lad That greek cunt I know said there's been nothing about it in the greek press at all. Then out of the blue, he's there. Shame you couldnt bet on that, Mrs Ketsbaia could be a useful tool in the future though. Greek fans on Jorman forums were talking about it for some time tbh.

You can negotiate deals outside of the transfer window, it's only that the paperwork, i.e. change of registration of players cannot get completed before July 1st.
-
There is no excuse for any of the transfer windows. Blaming the mismanagment of Fat Fred would be fair and well if they hadn't actually acted worse in regards to the first team.

Bookings 7 Penalties given away 3 (?) Number of stupid fouls 824 Missplaced passes 50 per game Value for money? my arse It's awfully lazy journalism anyway. Jonas has 4 assists actually (not that it would make it that much better). But a quick look at the official statistics costs about half a minute... -
Doesn't excuse to get rid of the likes of Given who was actually value for money as well as N'Zogbia and Milner who I reckon were both on much more considerate terms than the likes of Barton, Smith and Viduka - all of them strangely signed by Ashley and his fellow yokels.
-
Quite scary that we're actually playing my team this year so maybe there is a chance (actually, isn't there a Scunny one done already?) FYP Anyway what happened to him, he's still posting at Numpties Online.
-
Yes, because we had Souness. It's like enjoying shagging Susan Boyle because you already had Maggie Thatcher...
-
This. I wasn't the biggest fan (understatement) of his signing, but I think he would be ok as a squad player for next season. If he has other ambition fair enough, I doubt that he'll stay long at his next club then though...
-
Who says he has to be a winger? When we got relegated last time out we had a young striker by the name of Steve Howey who, although promising in the reserves, was absolute horse-shit. By the time we came back up, he was one of the most accomplished central defenders, not only in the 1st Division but in the English League and went on to play for England. What's to say Duff doesn't transform into a decent LB? He's shown promise IMO. At his age? Get a grip.

Your fingers should get cut off just for the thought of it. On what grounds? There were players in our final Division One campaign who were horrendous - Liam O'Brien & Kevin Brock for two who a large number thought should be shelved in the summer. They were retained and became pivotal in our return to the top flight. I'm not saying that Butt is going to do the same and if you look back I do say 'perhaps'.. I don't think we should necessarily write him off just yet mind. I saw your "perhaps" that's why I said "just for the thought". Sticking to players like Butt has been a major reason for the demise. He's past it. He only lives of Mr. Viagra's appraisal some years ago. It's nice that he looks committed on the pitch, but his stupid fouls and atrocious passing are one of the main reasons we got relegated. Not only that a player of his calibre is destroying any creativity in the side, but he's also been costing goals on a regular basis for years. That won't change in the Championship. It's not about keeping a Nicky Butt, but about finding a new Rob Lee tbh.
-
Bollocks, he still looked kind of prolific at the start of the season and was very good at the end of last. With decent service and some confidence he'll rather quickly find his mojo. Won't be a 100k a week mojo though.
-
What a gross over-reaction. He'll find a club, most likely even a decent who will take the chance. With better players around him he'll most likely look a decent player again. I won't miss him though.

Ah, the über-selfimportance of the continental Ultra-movement. Nice comments from Maldini afterwards ("I'm proud not to be one of them.").
-
Villa have only won one in six and that was a scrappy 1-0 against Hull. Can't you be more pessimistic? Would really cheer me up.
-
No. So, it's a certainty then.
-
They'll say that was always the "plan" :(

So do I, but its our potential result that worries me... Exactly, we now have to get something out of the game, though looking at most of the last 37 games I can't see how. Only 2 wins in the last 5 months and both of them have been against the only 2 sides below us. My glass if most def half empty. If my glass was half empty I'd be brimming with hope tbh.
