It happened to me once. At the start of the term I was going through the list of names of people attending the course. I came to a girl's name and someone said "Here". I looked up to where the call came from, then decided to ask again. Again someone from the same place said "Yes, I am here." I replied "But it's a girl's name." Unfortunately this something actually was a girl although never looking like one.

I would have no problem if he returned. He is probably still the best thing that can happen for us at the moment as I can't see too many available managers who could help us. At least with Keegan you know what you get. I can't understand all the walking out fuss. In the end he only really walked out on England and probably us this time. But the main thing is that Keegan left all his clubs (well apart from us this time) in a better state than he found them. Even if Keegan isn't a long term solution I'd be happy to give him the time to work his own way. I am sure by the time he leaves again we are most likely to be in a better position for a successor to take over.

If they were prepared to give Venables full control of everything and don't think they will stick around much longer they can give the job back to Keegan themselves tbh.

It actually can't see the problem in trying to get some short-term solution. I do find it rather sensible tbh. Especially as they could take the approach of not caring, because if they are going to sell soon they wouldn't need to bother if and how much the new owner had to pay to get rid of the manager...

Looking at the way how African FA's are handled according to European managers who worked there I am a bit sceptical about being led by an Nigerian consortium. Pfister a German who has managed various African clubs and national sides always tries to explain how much different their mentality is and how often it leads to serious power struggles.

Keegan at least got a couple of promising performances out of him at the end of last season. He is apparently a poor manager though...
