  1. It's this kind of stuff you seem to build your opinions on though.
  2. My thoughts exactly. Could be but what is unarguable is that Mort was the one who implemented it. Which still makes him (and Keegan) Ashley's only sensible appointments.
  3. Poland/Happy Auntie's houses face[/kraut humour]
  4. You answer that question yourself - he's where the buck stops as far as idiotic executive appointments are concerned. Beat me to it. He created this situation and he did it within a fortnight of bringing KK back to the club. And it was calculated. Calculated to do what though? Undermine the man he'd just appointed? I think it's more a case of Ashley being clueless about running a football club, about KK and about NUFC. I don't think he is totally clueless about running the club. As others have said it, he just got it totally wrong by appointing the wrong people (bar Keegan). The structure isn't bad per se. It would be alright if the people were working within the limits they allegedly were supposed to do according to the job description for the public. For example, it isn't that bad to relieve the manager (Keegan) from some business duties as long as he has the final say on matters like transfers and contract within the financial limits. Ashley probably isn't lying when he says that he bought the club to enjoy it as a football fan. It is his weekend plaything. That's why he isn't directly involved in the daily running of it and concentrating on his other business stuff. Shame that he unlike Abramowitch couldn't appoint the right people. He has no Peter Kenyon with vast experience who he can rely to. He has Labiarse. Wise isn't used to his role either. That's why those probably thought without Ashley running the club himself they can do things as they want to and gradually pushing Keegan out of things. It's just guesswork from, but if things are like this then the situation would easily resolved by getting rid of those who aren't up to their job and appoint people who have a clue and are actually caring (like in the past). The latter is probably a problem as well. I can't see for example Wise and Labiarse working on things with a fraction of enthusiasm like Shepherd did.
  5. Apparently has a complicated injury without the extend it being known. That's why his contract got suspended earlier this year. http://www.uefa.com/competitions/ucl/news/...sid=646570.html
  6. Mainly by Parky tbf I think it's fair to say that something (or things) happened very recently that were the final straw for the bloke. I sincerely believe he's acting with the fans best interests at heart too. I'm completely unconvinced the others are doing the same. I will stand with him. No worries. I have no doubt he was with us....to the end... I agree, I don't think he had any allies once Mort went either. None with any influence anyway. I think we are beginning to realise what a decent man Mort was. Its not a question of deceny, think its a question of politics. I posted this on NO last night, dont have muc time today so havent edited it for this thread but you'll get the gist as alex has already said virtually the same thing earlier on in this thread. Listen to the man, he speaks a lot of sense (yesterday as well). Chez for chairman.
  7. Not even long term after getting the wage bill sorted and the dead wood shifted? Don't believe the hype. Ashley thinks it's Millets, stupid fat cunt. It takes a special kind of moron to fall out with what is basically the prime asset ie KK. I actually still think the fall out doesn't involve Ashley tbh. He set the scene, he undermined KK, he talked down to him, he lied to him, he gave this little fuckhead Lambastard ideas that he could mess with KK....Believe me the scene was set from the top. Totally, pre-determined.... I believe you as much as with all your other revelations/predictions/halluzinations tbh.

  9. Totally agree. Broken down to the bones it is just a money making strategy and nothing to do with football whatsoever. KK was the only one batting for us reg what happens on the pitch, the rest of them don't give a toss. Honestly believe this like. I was slaughtered by some on here with that story about Modric, KK's reaction etc. Seems like it was true now iyam. I do think that the failure to strengthen the squad with some higher profiles does play a part in the current fracas. But I am not totally convinced about what part Ashley does play in this tbh. He probably has set some business rules wherein the club has to operate. But it was down to the recruitment department to make the best out of it - something they did fail despite the good signings we actually made. This is what the current assessment is probably about, but I am just guessing. After missing out on Modric, Aimar and probably loads more we don't know, Keegan was probably promised one big signing in regards to the Milner sale, which then didn't happen and causing a bit of an uproar, especially as I do think Keegan is a bit of a temperamental person with these things (for all the right reasons)...
  10. Thats just it. I cannot see any way KK can continue as manager. But if that happens I cannot see Ashley staying around much longer what with the backlash he will get... Its a fucking shambles.. I think all depends on what has actually gone on - something nobody knows tbh. Is it a rift between Ashley and Keegan? Then it depends how deep is it. Is it a rift between Keegan and the likes of Labiarse and/or Wise etc. then it will depend where Ashley places his loyality. Was it about players signed, sold or both of it? Was it about finances in general? Knowing Keegan it could easily have been a storm in a teacup that just went out of hand within a short periode of time. As I said, if the main persons settle down the fans will too, especially if things go well on the pitch...
  11. Couldn't agree more. Why are we putting up with this squeaky voiced cockney fucknut shouting the odds on here? Well we can't just ban people as and when they give their opinion. You have the power. He's not on the wind up though is he? You really think he isn't in for another bait?
  12. Unless he was told everything was going okay on the transfers he was after up until the last minute. We all talked over and over again about Warnock iirc and Lennon was mentioned and reg Lennon KK had quotes himself, so I believe that bit. With Warnock the initital reported bid was 3.8 and it was clear we'd go in with a higher bid and KK must have not even been worrying about that. He's clearly been misled no doubt. That's what I feel as well. He was made promises in the transfermarket the people involved in finalising these deal couldn't hold which lead to severe fractions, especially considering Keegan's comments last Friday.
  13. I am not sure if Keegan has a problem with the structure per se. Judging it on the base of the transfer that have been finalised it bears fruits. He probably only thinks that it is not efficient enough, based on the failures in the transfer market. I have no doubt that we were in for many more players, also some bigger names we haven't heard of, but were restricted in the way business was done (financially). It is now reassessing it and make sure it works better in future, with better communications and better financial backing.
  14. Join the que Manuel? Sorry, don't know why, but I had immidiately to think of this: Manuel: Que? Mrs. Richards: K? Manuel: Si. Mrs. Richards: C? Manuel: No. Que, "what." Mrs. Richards: K. Watt? Manuel: Si: que, "what." Mrs. Richards: C. K. Watt? Is he the manager? Manuel: Ah! Manajer! Mr. Fawlty. Mrs. Richards: This man is telling me the manager is a C. K. Watt, aged forty. Manuel: No, Fawlty. Mrs. Richards: Faulty? Why? What's wrong with him?
  15. I'd agree for the shear fact they've waited all day to release a tiny comment like this. THE ARE SHITTING IT. Every piece of evidence now tells you Keegan has said he wants out and the likelihood is its over control of transfer policy. Of course they are shitting it as they want him to stay. Its not like they've sacked him and changed their minds due to rent-a-mong outside SJP. I think it is about the direction of the club in general. I guess that for Keegan the strategy is far too much long term as it undermines his current position as a manager. He now has to work with a paper thin squad without having been able to add too much in quality but mostly not in quantity. Not that I wouldn't have minded if we had got rid of Barton. But if the board wanted it they should have made sure to have a replacement in line. Same goes for Milner. So it is clearly a "back me immidiately or I'll walk and you can see how you get out of the mess" ultimatum.
  16. NOPE - all that says is they haven't sacked him and don't want him to leave.... It doesn't mean he hasn't walked though This. Thank god I'm not the only one seeing through the flowery wording... They haven't sacked him, they want him to continue ....but no mention whatsoever that he's in agreement with them! All this statement has served to do is relieve them of responsiblity for leaving the club (if he has). It does NOT mean he is definitely still our manager. Be vigilant people - the fat lady ain't singing just yet. Sure, but this is at least more reason for hope than getting to grips with Dennis Wise standing in the dugout at the next match. Keegan has done it again. He's held the pistol to their head. They know they have to fear the fan's backleash if Keegans goes. So they have now to do this Keegan's way. I wouldn't mind if the outcome is to get rid of the likes of Wise and Lamearse with Keegan have more say about the people he wants to work with.
  17. Considering that the first rumours were that he already quit last night I rather see it as something positive. Hopefully another emotional outburst to increase the pressure to do things his way while they are begging him to rethink his decision. I f***ing worried now. Call me Isegridamus.
  18. This was one of the rational explanations I came up to calm myself down as well: A big bust up between Keegan and the others involved in the day to day work. Keegan getting fed up and walking out. Words are spreading and getting to the sources of Gemmill, Stevie etc. Ashley getting hold of this and hecticly trying to reverse the decision. The only explanation for the club saying nothing is that they are not sure about where they stand with Keegan at the moment themselves.
  19. What kind of sadist would act like this? It's clear they're panicked and not sure how to proceed. Not an easy one. Well, they should have started thinking beforehand...
  20. From the people available I would prefer Laudrup. Similar playing style to Keegan, young upcoming manager with a good record at his last jobs. Good with working with limited ressources and youngsters as well..
