1. So he did have successful with his gay child porn business?
2. I agree that we need Gravesen. We also don't need Faye and Butt who are unfortunately still on the pay roll and together pick wages in the region of 70k (together) every week for contributing nothing. We cannot afford another player before we have not get rid of at least one of them.
3. The Villa season ticket holder at work is really happy about it as well. He wanted to see the first home game before going on holiday. So he booked his flight for Sunday. D'oh!
4. Actually the only other notable trouble happened at the Germany-Poland game. Every other country has its fair share of idiots as well, but I think the documentary was actually spot on in pointing out the worrying huge amount of anti social behaviour among England fans. It's the joy in bullying, abusing and attacking others that is more than just normal banter that is seperating English fans from others IMHO.

Happy Birthday, I reckon you birthday cake is made out of an extra portion of antidepressants...
6. Well, first he said he wouldn't take off any time at all because too many things would have to be arranged before pre-season, then a couple of weeks later he says, that he is heading of for Turkey and transfer deals will be looked at when he is back and the World Cup is over.
7. It's just that I have a look at some Jorman clubs and only can think that they are acting much more wisely. Take Bayern for example. They always try to make sure that the core of next season's squad is put together before they head of into the summer break. This time it meant they were finalising deals with Podolski and van Buyten ahead of the World Cup. HSV immidiately made sure they signed Kompany as a replacement for van Buyten. Though, they were also unsuccesful in their search for a striker, but were really in the market since the end of May. Bremen signed Diego when they became aware that Micoud was looking to leave the club. This approach just makes much more sense to me.
8. If no one who can get to the ground volunteers, I'll try and get you one on the phone/online Isegrim. 168691 Thanks, I might come back to you then (even if have to provide pink wine/beer).
9. I disagree to a certain extent. In my opinion the planning should have started months ago and the assessment who are the right players. Roeder was more or less appointed at some point in April and that is when the planning should have started. Everybody going on holidays was the most strange thing I could think of. When we are heading into the season with only Amoebi and Un-Luque we are in danger of throwing away points in some games that look easy on the paper which could haunt us all season as we really have the chance of a good start into the season this time (fixture list wise). And what is if plans A, B and C fail again and we are getting rejected by clubs and players. Or clubs just making us to pay stupid money because they know we are desperate for strikers.
10. Well, that would make business sense (and maybe not touch some people's dividends) but would be footballing suicide. Though, I even don't know if it would be a good calculation businesswise. We of course would have a bad looking balance sheet. But on the other hand next year's one would look better, and not investing in the squad at the right time would also probably effect next season's league position. And another poor season would also be terrible for the share price and the dividents.
11. Hmm, I just realized that the open sale of tickets for the game starts on Monday. But I will spend a couple of days in the Lake District early next week, meaning I will have no internet access and won't be able to book online. And I have very, very bad experiences with phoning the ticket office. I know I am impudent, but is there anybody who lives directly opposite the ticket office? Free beer in the Trent will get provided.
12. I actually don't understand Newcastle's tranfer policy at all. Of course the transfer period only closes at the last day of August, but I can't understand why every season we leave it so late. Shouldn't the transfer deal normally at the best should be done before pre-season training starts and not when the season already has begun? Why did we have to wait until the end of the world cup when already knew for more than a year that we would at least one striker to replace Alan Shearer at the end of the season. We are now again in the position to look really desperate. And I am increasingly worried about the lack of substanciated transfer rumours. Everything goes quiet and .com don't come up with anything at all. The only thing we get is the the mince-faced clown telling us which players we don't sign. I see us aiming for overpriced panic buys again as club can held us for ransom.
13. So according to Anal O. Kuyt is shite because he had a poor World Cup, Klose is shite even though he had a good World Cup, but isn't wanted by any top team (which of course has nothing to do with Bremen saying that he is not for sale unless someone comes up with really ridiculous money). On the other hand Michael Bridges is a top lad who is so keen on playing for his beloved Newcastle United that he wants to be as close to St. James' as possible and that's why he is now fishing for a move to the club down the road... Anal O. really has a xenophobic complex. It probably has to do with those Italian hooligans chasing him or a certain foreing player trying to chin him (I wouldn't have minded if either had been successful).
14. PSV wanted 12m Euro from HSV who allegedly failed with a 8m Euro bid.
15. As much as I think players like Gravesen and Campbell would strengthen the squad I think we have to get rid of some of the dead wood we already have in the squad that is picking up first team player's wages, i.e. Boumsong, Faye, Butt etc.
16. So Butt got booed? Can I just state that this whole boo-your-own-players-you-dislike culture that is entering English football sickening.
17. Cherry B tbh - the ultimate gay drink. 165910 Cherry B with Babycham - uber gay. 165947 Cherry beer is as gay as every sweet belgium beer. Cheery beer is as sweet as all the other sweet trappist beer. Trappists are monks. Monks are gay. Gemmil likes sweet beer. Quod erat demonstrandum... 166166 You're not forgetting about that tackle, are you?? 166173 I'd rather not know about Gemmill's tackle if you don't mind. Take it to PM. 166176 Actually it wasn't even a tackle. The ball got passed to Gemmill, I anticipated it and sneaked in from behind and got the ball before the yokel who wasn't knowing what he was kicking at. And as proud as he feels now, he was really sorry at that time... Wet dreams tbh.
18. I think I am probably the only one here who ever might come in the position of really making the decisions of what is happening to those people. Death penalty is no option anyway in Germany as it is forbidden by law, but would I really consider it at all? No never. The actions of the Bulgar murderers were absolutely shameful and disgusting and deserve the most severe punishment, But who does it help do take pure revenge? Wille be the parents happy? From most accounts I know punishment does not bring satisfaction at all. The pain remains. So why should I just kill another life when it is of no use at all? And just on a side note. I found it funny how the News of the worls and the fake sheikh suffered a really bad bad defeat in the case about alleged muslim terrorists which apparently did cost the British tax payers millions and probably will cost the NOWT even more if there will be further claims...
19. I got my train tickets (though no match tickets as I still hope not to end up at level 7777777). So I'll come up to Newcastle anyway, so who else is up for a couple of pints or cherry beers?
21. It might be the fat man though! 166144 I've seen Gemmil playing football and it's definitely not him...
22. Didn't seem to stop you chucking it down your gullet mind! 165314 What option did I have? Do you think I could have bore the company of all of you sober? And here I already had to resort to buy Becks in cans. Sic transit gloria mundi... 165319 Oi! You were drinking fucking American Budweiser on draught when you were here, you dirty animal! 165321 Someone who didn't even know that Budvar is the original Budweiser (wgich they sold on tap) should shut up and drink his pink wine. 165333 In fairness to Wolfgang I imagine he would have drunk anything to get rid of the taste of the "House Red" we had in Hana Hana.... I do not think it was quite what our resident wine connoisseur is used to drinking. 165380 That was okay, it's what you get for the price (I rarely order bottles in restaurants because of the outragous prices. You rarely get value for money). But there is no excuse for the Lager I got the first night in the Lodge, that was just disgusting.
