You fucking hated everyone where you used to work. They were all lazy and you were the only one that did any work iirc. I think everyone turns in to a moaning cunt eventually, it's just the age of some people turn that way that shocks me.

Like people drinking Jager Bombs? Haha good analogy and people who used to have Rod Stewart hair cuts in the 80s.

Had a PROPER row with a mate about this before the match on Sunday, his crack man "Steve I'm as happy about this as I was about Keegan coming the first time", I says fuckin shut upi up man they're not even the top 5 of Manc bands never mind owt else, which was like red rag to a bull. As many have said in this thread I just feel they are ridiculously overrated, and don't appeal to me at all. The same people who like these like people like "The Smiths", which does say it all. It's that 25 to 40 year old age group who like things because of mob mentality, there's no other reason to like The Smiths. Care to name me 5 better Manc bands? A tweet from Mac Toon last neet summed it up perfectly for me. 2NarMe Mac @ @Leazeslad Agree aboot the Stone Roses n'aal. Load of shite. I'd say 75%+ of their fans don't even like the music, just the 'coolness' Absolutely spot on. Oasis, New Order and Joy Division piss all over the Stone Roses, as I said two good songs. It's aal this Aciendoh naanteennaanteh brigade who want to feel part of something imo. Never really had you down as a big Joy Division fan like. Love Joy Division and New Order nearly every song they released I think is mint. I think I'd have New Order in my top 10 favourite bands/musicians in fact.

It has. "Must be nice to The Fish, Must be nice to The Fish, Must be nice to J69, Must be nice to J69".

I thought that. It's like he's got a piece of A Level English coursework and is looking for the most dynamic one liners he can find using dictionaries and various other sources.

That's mental. I don't think I've ever seen anyone mention those books since I left school yet I did on twitter today, and now you have. Psychic me like. I had Sting's, straight up, Sting had mine about 20 years before me.

Selling leather shorts and sausages. Regardless what stereotypes the krauts have about us, they can't be anywhere near as the bad the ones we have for them. I read in some broadsheet, they think our dress sense is shite pmsl these are the cunts who put adidas signs on business shirt collars.

More romantic than I've got the worst hangowa/come doon ever like some though. What's the play about Parky? It's about a group of irreverent recovering alcoholics and their 'stories', set in a fictitious hostel/re-hab on the coast. One of the main focusses of their projections/arguments is an older woman (social worker) for who's attention there is competition. Under this window dressing it's really about the failure of truth to change anything. P Sounds canny as long as the characters aren't German.

It's ridiculous that they can't play it in the summer like. Tiote will be the biggest miss. I could accept them playing it in January if it wasn't for the fact it's every two years. I still don't accept it, they get good wages, and say their country gets to the final, when they sign their contract they're basically doing so saying they can only commit to 70 of 76 league games over two years, not acceptable in my opinion. Every four years would be a reasonable compromise / a vast improvement on the current situation though. They might as well just give it to Egypt anyway as they seem to win it every time. I don't think they've qualified this time round funnily enough. Btw, 2013 was meant to be in Libya. Whoops. Strites? Aye ya reet just looked on wiki they're oot, seems a bit harsh that, surely if you win it you should be in it. Don't I look a cunt now? Don't know if it's a new thing. fyp (safety) pipe it Bairdy

See that Cisse is having another good season too at Freiburg 7 in 7 games. Canny when you consider they're second bottom.

I do believe there could be some truth that his salary was linked to Given's though. SBR hinted that Harper was the best paid back up keeper in British football in his book, but at the same time I don't believe Given was ever on more than £50k here.

The way I look at it, I'll say straight away I don't and never have rated Pepe Reina. It baffles me how anyone can say he's the best keeper in the league, Given pisses him as do many others but.... of the next three teams who are above us Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham, hand on heart I think Krul, Coloccini, Santon, Tiote and Cabaye would all start for them and there's another 4 or 5 who potentially would.

Perhaps we need another quality CD in Jan rather than a striker.
McFaul replied to Park Life's topic in Newcastle Forum
As I said on the wireless, Williamson's shit anyway but injured, and our present back up is fucking Perch an unbelievable circumstance, and yes they may shift Simpson to CB, but he's too small for starters and too shit. Honestly I'd push the boat out for Garay the fact he'd have an Argie beside him would help, plus Jonas is there too. By the way I think Jonas is having his best season this season, very good so far. Isnt he just? The whole team (apart from the obvious one) seems to have a serious graft ethic. They fill in where the gaps are, they graft hard. Attack wise Jonas has been great, a little fine tweaking with maybe releasing the ball earlier and wow, what a player. If you ever watch Barca whenever they loose the ball 4 men or so always work hard to get the ball. They surround the man with the ball, I would like to think were doing similar. We work hard to get the ball back. At times on Sunday we were very patient with our build up play and it was very satisfying. No frustrating long balls to Strola who cant hold up fuck all. No long balls to the opposition. Fingers crossed That's just it, yet the yids were saying we were very direct? Fucking arseholes. Very cultured build up play by Newcastle on Sunday. -

Is it deluded to say we're the 7th club in England at the moment? It's not what we want obviously, but it'll dee for now. I don't think it's deluded to say we are a better side than Aston Villa, Everton and much better than Stoke and their neanderthal football. It's amazing really it's only 19 months since we drew 2-2 with Ipswich in the Championship, but our first eleven is not even a million miles behind Tottenham's. They have bigger names but we are doing OK. Tiote was THE signing of the season last year £3m gave us more than VDV gave Tottenham imo, and I think we've done it again with Cabaye.
