So has Jose turned up?

This ones a bit of a no brainer like. But by the end of the transfer window many fans will be in uproar pointing to the £35M asking where it's gone. The club will say nothing but Pardew will likely come out and mention contracts, wages and the undersoil heating at the training ground. In other words - we wont spend the £35M on players, including wages or not (not taking into account outgoing players as well)

Just the job. quoting so I'll find it later.

Thats as far as I got

Not much point in debating it this early on, basically. The club have been in for big money transfers, you know this (Gameiro for instance). Being "in for" big money players means absolutely nothing tbf. QFT. It's all too easy for the club to be "in" for a player. It's landing them that counts.

If you got to the lakes you have to expect rain at some point I love the Ullswater area personally. Thinking of heading up Amble way next weekend, anyone got any decent places up there?
-
Cracking city like esp if you get the weather. Ive still usually found 3 days enough and that even with the canals, sex museum, surrounding area, few beers etc

I disagree, we look in better shape than we did last season imo. We have lost Nolan and Carroll but gained Ba, Marveaux and Cabaye, also will have Ben Arfa and Gosling who weren't exactly available last season. Don't see how we haven't improved but maybe I just have my 'head in the sand'. If Taylor comes in and a decent forward, then Enrique leaves and maybe Best, Smith etc then I think we will be stronger as a squad and first 11.

One place or another, its only a matter of time it seems.

Wasnt arsed about Haye winning like as he comes across a bit of a twat while Klitschko came across pretty level headed. I watched it like but overall was a let down apart from the odd burst in a couple of rounds. Didnt really expect much more though tbh. Well, maybe from Haye I did due to all his hype.

Nah. When I get bored of the shit that comes and goes I'll not post as much. But never tempted to check other toon forums. Part of the furniture here now. I'm probably an old worn footstool that sits in the corner.

aye some good points there. This is Martins Couley's facebook page. You'll see why I think so much of his work. link He's the same bloke all the NUFC players have been going to (Colo was the most recent I think).

I have a few like, good thing is I dont mind people who dont either Each to their own an such though Im not keen on facial tats. Equally Id not get my forearms done or hands or feet. I dont get them to parade around and equally if Im in a short sleeved work shirt I dont want people to pre-judge me, especially customer. Sadly, people do pre-judge. I like a black and grey style and all of mine are that (no colour). I have the toon badge with a tribal back ground on a calf and some other tribal on my other calf. I have a dragon in black only across my upper back. Right arm has a viking piece (two vikings and a longship) which covers my right shoulder, bicep, tricep and across on to my chest. I am booked in to get a black phoenix on my left arm and chest in december (both these by Martin Couley who is probbaly the best in the north east at the moment, just opened a new shop in whickham after he was working from a converted dining room). Im also mid-design on another back piece that will cover much of my lower and middle back. Advice I would give anyone : * Think long, think hard. Think what you like now, will you like in 40 years time. Yes, that long. * Dont get peoples names * Never EVER but EVER get names or pictures of current footballers / musicians etc. Acceptable when they die and they reach their final status. * Be very careful about getting portraits, check similar work from same artist first. * Dont pick a design right off the wall. If you pick someones old design like that the tat likely means nothing to you and you'll end up regretting it * Yes it hurts * It REALLY fucking hurts * Dont get them just to look cool - you wont * If you are worried about the cost, it doesnt mean enough to you to get it My right arm piece covered up my first ever tattoo I had when i was 18. I got it right off the wall and as predicted, meant nothing. All others I have designed or had a hand in designing myself. If you do get one, one of the best creams to use after is Bepanthen, the nappy cream. Just buy your own tube not one from the wifes nappy box as you really dont want an infection. Also dont get one just before going on holiday as too much sun before it's healed fades the ink. Oh same for swimming in a chlorine pool. Finally if you give blood, get your tattoo just after you give blood as you cant give blood again I think within 6 months of getting a tat. Bout it I think

Well, as you may expect I'm now part of Google+ having a mess around. So far I like it because it doesnt have all the shite Facebook does, doesnt have all the people FB does either. I like the concept of "Circles" so I could like post something just to my NUFC circle and only they would read it. Then something to just my Photography circle and only they would see it. Or something to all my circles etc. You can upload video and photo's etc and have video chat etc. It's only in beta but so far I like it. Mainly because I hate Facebook with a passion largely because of the numerous shite games people keep trying to invite me to and the hundreds of cringeworthy applications like "how fat is my head today" or "how twatful am I today" etc. Invites are blocked at the min but you can kinda get in if you have a gmail account and someone with it (ie me) shares something to your email address. Worked for me anyway.

I usually take up the opposite stance. Only when I find people like LM have such extreme views while mine are more balanced. Truth is, I am concerned about where the club is heading under Ashley and have done for a while. Clearly things are being done on the cheap and us being a selling club is more of a reality each season that passes. However, I also think some of the deals we do at he moment are decent. It's a shame the club can't see that we need a mix of both. Sure, do the deals, get the free transfers, but for fuck sake invest using real money when its needed also and dont be so quick to accept bids for key players. As for the rest of the window, Id be satisfied if we made a solid signing a forward. With a new forward plus Ba, plus what we have Id feel it was stronger than last season. Get rid of two from Best, Lov & Ranger. We need to hold on to enrique and Barton but I reckon at least one will go and not be replaced.

aye howwwwwwmanheymanhowmanheyman. I used to love it when 5000 blokes would sing "a naa yee, yee naa me, a naa yee n yee naa me nanananannananaaaaaaaaaaaa" for no reason at all Would be class if that got going again Mine's pretty boring. When I first went online I used to play Quake against some yanks. Lad I teamed up with said I should use a tag rather than my own name. Couple of them knew me as Geordie (for obvious reasons) but the name was taken so I spelled it JawD and it kinda stuck.

Happy Birthday you tedious burger flipper. In honour of your (nearly) becoming a man, I shall take you off ignore and see how we do. Have fun now
