Not really. I don't think its embarrassing. Are we such a big club that we should only ever deserve to be in the Premier League? Too big to be relegated? No. Course not. We were relegated because we deserved to be. Now we are promoted because we deserve to be. I agree, no OTT celebrations and I agree that a wrong has been put right. However, as gutted as I was we went down, I'm happy that we're back up again. The lads at least deserve a good sending off at the last home game. Tough game like. They are on a bit of a roll and unbeaten at home this year I think. Then again, good home form but poor away. Won 1 in last 4. But 4 from last 5 at home.

I doubt this game will be many people 1st. Could be wrong like, but I doubt it. I reckon all season hasnt been the same 42K or so people either. Probably a good core of maybe 35K with some coming to some games and not others. I usually only miss 2-3 games a season but have missed loads this season. Probably half. But thats because of the annoyingly high no. of mid-week games this season which I struggle to get to. I think though that everyone who has been to the games this year would go out of their way to get to the last one. Now its confirmed its not moving, at least I know I can make it. I'd be surprised if we got 52K though, as that assumes a good away following and good corporate sales.

And defending! Never thought Gillespie was that good for us, he was just fast and fortunate with the players he played alongside. He had a lot more poor games than he did ones like that Barca match. Nobby was by far the best right winger we had in the premier league. That said Routledge has been very inconsistant (at best) in the premiership previously so we'll have to wait and see whether can continue the very promissing form he has shown so far. Probably my second favourite behind Beardo. Nobby was simply class. Not the fastest of players but was such an intelligent player with fantastic control. His early ball into the centre couldnt be matched. Also wasnt shy at tracking back, probably due to playing RB for Peru. Fair point re Gillespie. But then I think a lot of the team was just well assembled by KK.

Aye, was often said thats its a shame he couldn't get on the end of one of his own crosses. I think with any winger you take the package good with bad.
