  3. Much is said about his roles in Easy Rider and Apocalypse Now. Granted, excellent movies. But on of my favourite scenes with him is in True Romance, the trailer scene with Christopher Walken. Awesome stuff. (as posted above by 2J)
  4. You seem clued up on this shit, will pushups help shift my moobs? I'm also doing cardio as well like as I know that will help. Pushups will tone your chest but won't actually shift any fat. You need cardio and a clean diet for that. I suggest High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). This is basically any form of intensive anaeorobic activity followed by rest. i.e. Sprint 50 metres, walk back to the start, sprint 50 metres, walk back to the start. Repeat for as long as you can (I aim for 20 minutes). This pisses all over aerobic (steady activity for longer periods) for fat loss. Hill sprints are a killer but another great way of dropping fat. Basically as above but find a hill with a decent gradient. I'll try this interval training, at the min Im running between 4-6 miles 3 times a week at a steady pace and dont seem to be able to get lower than 13 clem. Also helps if you're doing something you enjoy. Running bores the arse off me. Boxing is my sport and although I don't do it competitively anymore I still get down the gym a fair bit. Knacking the bags and sparring is far better than pounding the pavement and a great stress relaease. Aye running can get tedious, Ive starded Badminton though with a mate, I thought it would be fairly easy but it buckled me and it was good fun. Whatever keeps you motivated - I'd say squash is a bit more macho than badminton however...... Ive never bothered looking up the rules for squash like, Badminton isnt macho like but Its good fun! FYI you cant spot reduce fat. You can do all the push ups in the world, while they do work pecs, thats nothing to do with fat reduction which is a different thing all together. HIIT is a good method for fat burning. But just know that fat burning and muscle growth are two very different things.
  5. Hey well done, welcome to the bag-eyed club!
  6. Pretty good. Having my first night on the lash in fuck knows how long. Not to everyones taste, but off to see Mark Knopfler tonight at the arena, so going to the Telegraph for a couple of hours before. Been in the garden all day gardening (fancy that!) so am in need of a beer.
  7. Only been a couple of times a few years ago. More of a gentleman club vibe. Table service, quite dark lighting and the girls wander the room. Remember it being quite small and so is the stage. Hmm sounds a bit shit. Apparently that Officers Deck is now called Pussy Galores... £20 for a full nude lap dance. Seems a bit frigging expensive that like?! Cheaper than having to pay for your lasses hair to get done though
  8. thats what I was saying yesterday at work.
  9. Yeah, can you see our club taking this approach? West Ham doing the opposite of what Ashley does. Reminds me of the Seinfeld episode called 'The Opposite' where George realises every single decision he makes is wrong so doing the opposite must be right. In seriousness, surely anyone taking over a football club these days merely has to look at this place then use the Sienfeld logic you talk about. Dunno like, its the logic Ashley applied to running this club....

Men wearing blazers etc.... Ok, Id like to see the reversal of the txt spk trend. Does my head in, more so when there is no limitation of space which was the reason it came about.

link As easy as I find that, you can find a counter arguement the same. I dont dispute global warming for a second, but the % of the effect being man made.

Thats just it, my own opinion is just based on what I've read/watched. I don't profess to know even half the ins & outs, but there are strong arguements on both sides. Either way, I dont see the harm in breathing cleaner air, using less energy and cleaner energy etc. Oh, and I dont drive a van
  13. Where's the officers deck? Right at the bottom of the Bigg market. Just stay in the Pig Market, you can get the lot for nowt ....

Id say that man (or woman!) influences on global warming are only slight compared to natural influences. However, who can argue against just improving the quality of what we manufacture & use? Less carbon from cars etc, cant really be a bad thing?
  15. Yeah, can you see our club taking this approach?
  16. Fucking chimney sweep
  17. I love the fact that it was sent off with a tape in 55 languages. Oh aye, incase Aliens could speak French etc.
  18. In a word, Fuck that Striding Edge is about as daring I get
  19. Well, fairfield has what, six paths leading off it? Was funny like, I go with My Dad (he is 63) and his mate. They were walking in one direction and I was protesting saying it didnt seem right as the compas said one thing and them another, but off we went anyway You wouldnt usually need a compass for that walk but its in my pack anyway. The crag (if it wasnt St sunday, Ill have to check) - was from ambleside, up fairfield and on top of fairfield then walking right. We initially started walked straight over which goes down a shale path towards a tarn but then decided that was wrong, scrambled back up the side towards this craggy climb. Not that on the pic like, but fuck me my arse was twitching Ive pulled out some actual shots we took on the walk : On top of Fairfield: This was looking back to the crag after fairfield. Doesnt show it too well, poor pic like. Another looking back to fairfield with that tarn on the right that we nearly walked towards. Then the next bit we walked up from there Im trying to see a map to see where we did walk. Basically ambleside to fairfield, up great rig etc and then to patterdale. I wonder if it was maybe cofa Pike? We dont the walk again last year, getting it right this time and actually doing the horseshoe
  20. Oh ok then Top 5 are from in and around Lanchester where I live. Most as you can tell I took this last winter. The bottom two are from Thrunton Woods up near Rothbury which is one of the walks I do a couple of times a year.
  21. I go over the lakes walking every year. Couple of years back we were doing Fairfield Horseshoe. Up on top it was foggy as fuck and literly couldnt see 6ft in front of you. We ended up taking the wrong path and went over Dove Crag and St Sunday Crag. Proper hands and knee's stuff at times but breathtaking when the fog lifted. We ended up miles off course and got a taxi back as we ended up in Patterdale and not Ambleside! This is a google of St Sunday summit
