Id fall into the same myself I think. As soon as I posted the above (now removed) it didnt feel right. I dunno, it is double standards, not sure why its acceptable in some cases and not others. If someone made a joke about my bairn or someone close I dont like to think what Id do. Anyway, not wanting to get into a debate in here (though its an interesting one). This is a subject that is as near as any I can remember to being Taboo. While JawD's contained some 'very bad taste' humour, I don't see anything remotely humourous in Fish's joke - what on earth has a watch got to do with it? tbh, Ive even taken it down. I would have said Stoke, West Brom etc were nailed on. thing is, Stoke and a few others are picking up points you wouldnt have thought. We're definitely one that could drop but its anyone guess at the minute. Unlike most seasons, there's no one or two nailed to the bottom of the table and any could get dragged back down. Will be a long long time before we have anyone as good at the club. I think he is perfect for a club who has a good squad and can accept that he will only play maybe 20 a season. Fact is, despite seldom playing a full season, he would still have a bigger impact over forwards who do. Its not just the goals but his presence on the pitch and effect that has. Personally I think we should be bending over backwards to keep him, but then again, there's a lot of things we should be doing as a club but are not.

We were talking about this yesterday. That because MA doesnt want to spend a penny on new players, JFK will be told to sell. If a offer came in for any player I think he'd consider it. We have some players that I think many teams would like such as Taylor, Zog, Given etc. At the moment, Im happy with Coll and Bassong. Colloccini was being beat on pace frequently yesterday however, I think those two could build up a good understanding and are much better than we've had for a while. I would keep Taylor though. He's prone to stupid mistakes but is better cover than cacapa imo. Though I havent read it, apparently JFK commented on how there were good players in the championship to be had, also how he doesnt think our squad is good enough to fight a relegation battle. Which on yesterdays performance is probably right.

I thought Guttierez had a mare tbh JawD. Couldn't understand the booing when he went off. You reckon? I thought he was the only bit of creativity we had but had no support from the centre. Just got back in from the game. Not felt this pissed off after a game in ages. Cant be arsed to go into the why's and wherefore's but anyone who was at the game knows what Im thinking. Only players who can hold their head up after that are Jonas and Bassong.
