See, now thats where you;re wrong Its because I CAN pack bags that present the problem. Milk, juice etc in one bag, tins etc in another, cereals take up one bag, dog food n chews in another, water and dog mixer dont go in a bag, fruit in its own bag, bread, eggs, crisps etc in another I also put them on the thing to be scanned grouped like that to make it easier. The problem is the 100mpg scanning and that most of my time is spent trying to open the fucking bags that they glue together

Since I can remember Ive went to barbers. Usualy costs £6 and I usually give em £8 (why do we do that?). No 4 over the top and no 3 at the back n sides I dont get any more complicated than that. Unless I fancy a change and I get a no 3 all over.

Thanks for the link, tried it and no change of any note like. Wonder if I should move the hub downstairs and try via wireless rather than ethernet? I avoided taht as Id been told wireless gets too many dropouts.

Hmm, I have put mine upstairs then use an ethernet connection from it to the pc. Of course the extension to whenre it is would could some slow down, but I still cant get my head around the fact that my last modem and 1GB connection was getting me pretty much the same speed?

and according to that Im getting 967 kbps download which it says is 129 kb/sec

Anyone use it? Ive just changed it from my old adsl router (that was fine really, I just went for the extra wooshyness). Im not using it as wireless, Ive connected using ethernet. The hub says my speed is about 4.6GB download and .5GB upload (is this normal for an upload?). But, when I use the speedtest site, it says my download is about 950 kb/s ? I went to a site to download a pdf, and from there I was getting about 85kb/s Anyone got any idea? I was expecting a faster d/l speed or am I mistaken? Oh, and if anyone is thinking of the bt home hub, it installs a bunch of shitty software thats a complete waste of resources. Im busy trying to disable them and the crapy browser it wants you to use....

Aye, tried Tesco and Asda. Canny for most things except fruit and veg which they seem to bounce all over before it gets to you. Oh, and if they have ran out of say brown sauce, they will give you a jar of jam instead....
