always makes me laugh when people scream about us signing x kind of player when we need y. FACT is the manager will identify several signing he wants. Lets say a CH, LB and AM/F. Now, lets say they are all wee balls thrown up in the air. Does it matter which one lands first? Plus consider that he may need to get new balls to replace ones he lost. It doesnt matter what order they fall so long as they do land before the window closes. You wouldnt want him to miss say the AM/F landing just because he was only waiting for the LB to land. something like that anyway. Have to agree though, we are not exactly the best prospect these days for players and its going to be a struggle to attract until we turn things around.

Perhaps this also ties in with the KK rumour. It was said that Ashley might want his own manager in some time ago, also said that they would give Sam a chance. Perhaps they dont want to give Sam too much and would rather see how he goes first. As Gemmil says, give him a few defenders and leave it at that. Maybe not wanting to give him £30-50M if they have other plans next year etc.

Just got back. Had some Arse ringo star lookalike sitting next to me moaning through the whole game... Canny game. Milners pen looked rather soft, good to see Luque insisting he took it. Good build up and well taken goal by Carrol. Juve it has to be said were poor like and their shooting was awful. Dyer was getting plenty of boo's a times despite being prob our best player in the second half with some good penatrating runs. Is annoying though when he just stops and puts his hands on his hips rather than look for the 2nd ball etc. Couple of canny stops by given. Second half was pretty much all the kids. Huntington at lb was prob our weekest spot.

Could be accurate or could be a smoke screen to stop selling clubs inflating their prices? Either way the general feeling coming from the club on signings is pretty negative.

Cant find anything on the net about this yet, but was on sky sports (newspapers) that Ashley is wanting to bring KK back to the club as a DoF. Not sure how Sam would react to that and Im also not sure what role that would give him. I dont object if its good for the club and would help Sam. Maybe its to give Mort/Ashley someone to link to the manager with football knowledge. On Roeder, various reports are linking him to a move to Arsenal to work with Wener.

Aye Ill be there again. I bought two tickets for each of the home friendlies. Rather than my usual SJH seat, the wife in the box office recommend for the same price I took Platinum Club seats. Now I know why with it being so quiet and it was over half empty in SJH.

Ok, more on this. I now have my workbook which consists of around 40+ sheets. I want to distribute the workbook but do not want the user to be able to modify any cell. But they should be able to follow hyperlinks within the workbook. The way I have found I have do this is to protect sheet > Tick Select Locked Cells, Tick Select Unlocked Cells, Untick Edit Objects, Untick Edit Scenrios > Add password > confirm Password Now, this does exactly what I want it to do, except I cant be arsed to go through every sheet and repeat this. So I need a way to do them all at once. You cant select multiple sheets and do this for some reason. I suspect there is some code you can enter (which you right click and chose view code) is visual basic but I aint got a clue about that. Anyone any ideas? Cheers
