I know what you mean about Ozu (like you Tokyo Story is only one of his films I've seen) but he must have been doing something right to keep me interested in a film where barely anything other than the mundane happens in 2 hours +. I feel a hell of a lot better than I did at the start of the last two seasons and immensely better than I did at the end of last. I'm looking forward to the new season and while I dont have a high expectation, my feeling is that we have turned a corner and are at least putting things in place to start crawling our way back up the table. I think Europe has to be the aim, but top half would be the right direction.

Thing is mind, from what I have seen of Geremi pre season, he is very hard working both at defending and going forward. Seems to like to have a crack at goal as well and has a pretty good eye for it.

Thing is though, the players that are coming in compared to those leaving are much stronger. When you look at Bramble, Moore, Parker, Dyer(?) leaving and Rozenhal, Barton, Geremi and Smith(?) coming in, plus say two defenders coming in. Dont forget this is only the first step. With these changes, Id love us to be pushing for europe but would take a top 10 finish now along with a more stable club with the right foundations to continue to grow.

Isnt he as much a midfielder as a forward though? I think he played up front and RM for Leeds and RM for Man U. Just was was more associated to playing up front with Viduka for Leeds.
