    Spots

I seldom get spots, though sometimes get a shaving rash on my neck. I also only shave every 3 days or so as I prefer to have an amount of "rough" there. Plus I only wet shave. Plus I hate shaving Mind, I do sometimes get those spots that sit inside your nose or just under the skin without really showing that really knack. Oh, and I hate anyone squeezing spots, really makes me cringe
  4. Cheers! Aye, canny day, after a 10 mile walk yesterday, went to the pub for dinner today and just been to see 300. Canny canny. 35 and dont look a day older (or younger...)
  5. All this hankie colour coding has really got me thinking about magicians ...
  6. They are trying to sell the ps3 also on the back of being a blue ray player. In fairness it is a good one at that and you wont buy a stand alone blue ray player for less. However, blue ray isnt exactly no 1 at the moment with HD DVD prob leading the way. That said, the porn industry usually has a massive influence on what will be the accepted medium. Too early to say how well the ps3 will do, really needs a good few months to see how quickly the software developers can push it to improve their titles. I still have a ps2 and its been gathering dust for months unused, yet Ill probably upgrade to a ps3 when the price drops a bit (which it will). Then that will prob sit there gathering dust as well...
  7. Maybe they thought he was joking, but surely if he was also injuring himself first they would have known? Always an odd subject. His life to technically can do what he wants with it. But then he did have kids to think about as well. Still, why go through the whole webcam thing? Meh, Im no shrink.....
  8. You know how GR was just going on about players not being good enough....

    Comic Relief

Well he's had a few years of practice now...
  10. Aye he needs more time and Id point to Martins as an example. Next season, hopefully alongside a new centre half and we'll see how he gets on.
  11. Id keep him in the squad for the sake of depth. But he shouldnt be captain. As said, captain should be the first name on the sheet. Id also go with Dyer & Butt in the centre.
  12. I can see it now.... Season ends with us in 12th. No europe to go for, not even inter-toto. Owen comes on for last 5mins in final game and gets one touch of the ball giving away a throw in. Bramble leaves on a free and GR comes out mentioning that he has not mentioned or complained about injuries that riddled the season often leaving him with no first team players. Transfer window opens. GR says he will not rush into things or panic buy. He knows he must address the defence. Owen coming back will be like a new signing and Ameobi will return. Summer goes on with no signings. Players return to training. One week before the new season starts a new centre half comes in, a similar quality to Bramble only older. No left back. GR reminds everyone that although he wont complain about the injuries in the previous season or how most of the first team was out or how we lost owen for the whole season.. we still had a good uefa cup run and kept our heads above water. GR on back page of sun in SHOCKER as he is seen showing some emotion on the side of a football pitch. Its then revealed as a set up as someone had put one sugar in his tea not two. FS on sky sports on how he is a geordie and how geordies dont complain. Then says that he also wont go on and on and on and on about the injuries we had all season and how GR managed with no squad and nearly played himself. He wont mention this as he is a geordie and geordies dont complain. He says there is money there for GR and are just waiting for the right players to be made available. He end reminding everyone he is a geordie and they are the best supporters anywhere and most loyal. Metro radio starts campaign advertising for season tickets, seats avialable in every stand. Season starts. Parker as captain. Draw first game at home 0-0. Crowd of 45000 boo at the end. GR was at another game scouting, but he had a cardboard cutout of himself on the sideline. No one noticed. Questions raised about leaving Milner on the bench and playing harper on the right. GR explains that he wont mention all of the injuries he might have and how its possible to loose the full team though injury. Just like he didnt mention last season as proof. New shirts on sale. Record sales as ever as everyone buys the new shirt. Again. Transfer window closes as on the last day Wayne Bridge moves to Portsmouth as GR insists no players moved in the window that are better than what we have. Clark resigns as player/coach and is in squad for next game. Sunderland who were promoted, spent 15M in window. Play newcastle at home and draw 1-1. Full house crowd. FS comes out saying how the fans always back the team as could be seen from the numbers. Players are boo'd off again. GR has a dig at the fans saying its our choice, but we didnt get beat so should realise meay teams would love to be in our position. I cant wait
  13. Well, aye you are right, in that both fans and players of teams not in europe, would rather be in europe to get knocked out in the first place. But on the game, while I blame the players on the pitch for defensive errors, passing being all over, lack of movement etc, I blame our lineup and tactics on GR. When it was clear as anything that we had to attack them, why was Milner left on the bench? It took him 3/4 of the game to push Dyer inside where he would clearly have been more effective. Huntington was getting raped, why not swap him and Taylor over? The fact he said we could go there and not need to score against a side known for their attacking flair says it all for me.

Aye, takes me a while to get around to posting sometimes. You, like when times going slowly on a Friday at work. So, as the oldest post on the board, I figures it deserved a reply

Hey guys, whats going on in this thread?
  16. They probably are as we were an embarrassment last night. lets see now.........all the clubs that don't play in europe are laughing at us, right ? Do you think manu are embarrassing when they are knocked out of the Champions League ???? I don't expect you to understand this mind ........ I know what you are saying, BUT, should we measure our standards on the failures of others? If Liverpool finish third and fail to get an automatic champions league place should they be thankful as the rest of the league finished below them? If (or rather when) west ham get relegated should they accept it as at least they arnt in the 2nd division? Just because we have been in a worst predicament doesnt mean our current state is acceptable? If you aim for average, you get average at best. As for being embarrassed. Yes it is. After we promise so much in the first leg, this performance was embarrassing. The negative approach (again) is embarrassing. We were completely played off the park from front to back.
  17. Well, only sums up most of our own thoughts
  18. Narr, we'll scratch a win and paper over the cracks once again. Scary though isnt it. We do that and they think all is ok again...
  19. Bah... Awful all over really. I was fuming last night in the manner we went out. I actually felt sorry for Huntington, he was getting pulled all over but should not have been put in that position. Bramble showed why he doesnt have a new contract yet and as far as I am concerned he simply isnt good enough if we are serious about improving our back line. Taylor is usually alot better but was also very shakey with errors all over (not to mention a dodgy elbow). Nobby wasnt as bad at the back but made up for that with shite passing, again unusual for him. Where was Milner? Dyer was wasted out on the right. Ah, bollocks it...... We didnt deserve it (the win) , and at least Van shows some passion.
  20. Bramble Hey you Guuuuuuys! (thinking Goonies here)
  21. Well, judging what Ive just been through. when we loose and Im watching on tv, as the game goes on I get progressively more in a bad mood. I wont speak and if I do I use one word answers. If Im spoken to too much I kinda growl in a stfu kinda way... I know when we get beat I usually avoid the radio, but Im keen to hear GR's excuse for failure. When we score at home I jump and wave my arms a bit like a loon. Depends on the game though and how much it means (and how much Ive drank). Best was Inter away when we drew 2-2. Had a pile on more or less in the crowd when we scored. everyone went mental then though.
