Music - Id probably say now, only that as you get older your musical taste tends to broaden. So there is more I can listen to and enjoy now than say in the 80's. When you think of music in the 80's and 90's and what was considered "pop" then Id say it was all trash. Fashion - Well, in the 70's my Father chose what Id wear, 80's I wasnt as bothered. By the 90's I at least started to have a clue but Id also say its much better now Nightlife - Can only really say from my experience. Late 90's to early 00's. Thats more age though. Seldom go to a club now. Though Id say best time I had was in my mid to late 20's. Supporting NUFC - Yeah 90's. Too young to know anything else. you as a person - Definately now. Older, wiser married etc. While the 90's may have been "fun", Im much happier with what I have now.

I used to follow it a fair bit. Started in SB XX with the Patriots and Bears. My brother supported the Bears so I went with the Patriots that year and they got crushed with what was then a new record. I followed them all the way the following year when they were put out of the play-offs by Denver. Around this time I started playing with our local junior side (un-kitted). The Patriots were pretty poor all the way until more recently when they won their first Superbowl and then went on to win more with a strong side kept together over a few seasons. This year I was hoping they could get back to face Chicago again but Indianapolis just clinched it (and I think they are favourites). Over all, I stopped following as much when they changed the league and allowed a couple more teams in. I still get confused now as I still call some teams by their old names. Forgot to add: When I was playing, we won the local competition that year though if Im honest I wasnt involved that much The league folded the year after but a few of our team went on to play for the local pro sides like the Spartans. This was around 1987-88.

I usually end up saying Man U. They play good football and they have the best manager we have seen or will see in a long time. Then I bump into one of their fans and it reminds me that in general they are a bunch of self obsessing tossers. So, though football tells me Man U, I'd prob say Chelsea due to their fans. All in all though, I couldnt care less. I'd like to see them both stumble and Liverpool nick it

Actually, on that was listening to the news this morning about the RVi. Summit about a pregnant lass not being helped and having to walk up to the ward herself or something. On aches though, I need to sort my back/neck out. Every few weeks I get an ache under my shoulder blade and it gradually spreads to my neck (like a stiff neck which nacks). Im suspecting its my bed but I dunno. Wor lass is an OT as well but reckons there's little a doc could do. Maybe need a physio or a new bed. As for Caths shoulder, I dunno, Im pretty hopeless on them things.

I received a phone call from a gorgeous ex-girlfriend the other day. We lost track of time, chatting about the wild, romantic nights we used to enjoy together. I couldn't believe it when she asked if I'd be interested in meeting up and rekindling a little of that "magic". "Wow!" I said. "I don't know if I could keep pace with you now. I'm a bit older and a bit balder than when you last saw me." She just giggled and said she was sure I'd "rise" to the challenge. "Yeah." I said. "Just so long as you don't mind a man with a waistline that's a few inches wider these days!" She laughed and told me to stop being so silly. She teased me saying that tubby bald men were cute, and she was sure I would still be a great lover. Anyway, she giggled and said, "I've put on a few pounds myself!" So I told her to fuck off.

I love it when opinion is posted as fact. Most of the "facts" in this thread tbh None of us know for sure which way the truth runs. FS suggests his hands are tied while the clubs future is sorted, there will be an element of truth in that. He also suggest it has been SJH flogging the club around causing the unsettlement. Im not one to back FS, but I can understand some of what he says. This said, as Gemmil points out, running to the Mirror with this seems an odd step to take. I reckon he's trying to ease the pressure and fans will only point at him. But why the mirror?

Actually, the correct way according to the new regs is to get a qualified electrician Load of bollocks, like Im gonna pay £100 for someone to stick a new poxy light fitting up?
-
Agreed. My last two deals have been fixed rate two year contracts. I'm more likely to look at variables this time because you risk being stuck on the higher rate if and when interest falls again. I'm with the Nationwide but apparently they have stopped offering the same deals to existing customers that new customers get. So they might be getting kicked into touch. What, so for brand new customers only?

Hmm, prob both so I think that makes me a Mocker... fancy a coffee actually...

BUT! did you know that the origins of the word are Anglian (sp?), no not from east anglia or whatever but from the Angles (southern Denmark) who introduced their language to our region and changes us from the local dialect at the time which was Gaelic. We've actually retained alot of that dialect. So when people say we're talking slang or lazily we're not. We're talking in the countries ancient language and its they that are wrong Also! while on the subject, to upset the Picts among us, Northumbia stretched up to Edinburgh and it was then us who influenced their language ot the other way around Here endeth the lesson Hello? hello????
