Had a shitter in the league this season, ended up 4th, just. My cup games have been the saving grace. Ended up with Chelsea in the league cup final but got beat. Then drew them again in the Fa Cup final Also got to the Champions League final and faced Liverpool:

Parker is injured according to Beeb Newcastle. They also said Sibierski's miss was pretty shocking. All he had to do was put it in the net and he totally fluffed it. Then they went down the other end and missed a good change.

Earliest I've won it in FM07. Owen fucked off for £20 million, Fat Fred also fucked off. Brought in Fred and some wonderkid from brazil then after the window closed Fred, Martins, Johnson and Caracciolo all got injured repeatedly so I got dumped out of the Uefa and FA cups. Also lost my first choice RB with 6 weeks to go in the season.

Just having a nosey around on Ebay and some are looing money. One has just gone for £405 meaning they lost £25.

I like a target man in this game. Never bothered in previous versions though. Eddie Johnson is spot on if you can get him at the start of the game for just over a million in just over a year his value is at £6.75 million, in the past I've upgraded to Klose when he goes on a free in the summer of 08 and he is the business.

Don't know if there's a film of it, I can certainly remember a BBC kids' drama serial back in the early 1980s - which was standard BBC fare - but I absolutely loved that book. If I recall correctly, I think perhaps Westall did a sequel with the main character much older, but I can't remember that far back anymore so can't remember what it was called. Fathom Five was the direct sequal, but I didn't think Chas McGill was that much older.
