Already a must win game for Man City with Man U, Chelsea and Spurs all getting off to a winning start. Can see a 3 goal margin this evening, but if they do stutter in this game and we are able to take something from it, then it will give our guys great confidence for the following few games. My only worry is that it will all but shut any slim chance we had of spending anything this window.

I think everyone's just a tad excited to hear Jamie Carragher's expert opinions and analysis on MNF tonight, and needs to take a moment to calm down.

looking at some of the updated pictures on the Evening Chronicle website - why the hell have they shoved them in a corner?! Is this where the other 'St James Park' sign was, and this is a replacement?

Evil Kagawa is great, I only found this recently and have been loving it!
-
that could work, though with it could be a tight formation to play when they have a big pitch at Old Trafford. I would love to be able to have these sorts of conversations about thiscaliber of players with a Newcastle team!
-
was Kagawa on an extended break after his summer commitments with Japan? Really rate him, as I'm sure Moyes must. I remember seeing him for the first full 90 minutes of watching him against Norwich last season where they won 4-0 and bagged a hat-trick. Unplayable that day.

one way traffic here. Torres looks to be playing with a smile of his face - wonder how long that lasts before Jose benches him for Lukaku on a regular basis.
-
see he's got their classic grey away kit socks on though, keeping it retro where he can.

I see .com are reporting the famous gates have now been put in place, propped up against a wall....
-
I streamed it yesterday and had no problems.

Nailed on to get injured in the first 15 minutes now.

He'll be back in a month when we fail to sign anybody, and used as the excuse of "we tried, we were even so confident that we allowed our young talent to go out on loan, but unfortunately we couldn't get the right calibre of player fit enough to wear the famous black and white stripes so he's back and starting at the weekend".

Sky sports is free today on freeview on Pick TV, Leeds V Shef Wed on in a monent and then the Swansea v Man U game later this evening. Football, welcome back to my life!

You don't own a radio?! It's my one escape from the misses, go cook a meal and listen to 5 live for a couple of hours before having to watch a terrible chick flick on a day evening, Seriously, my cooking / time in the kitchen goes up ten fold with a digital radio, my best purchase of last year.

Kinnear has the power to do what the Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaak he wants when the Faaaaaaaak he wants.

Which radio shows do you listen to for a good football debate? anything from daily, weekly or pre-made podcasts. I usually listen to the 606 pod-casts Monday's if I don't hear the show on a Saturday or Sunday evening. I also enjoy the Danny Baker show and listen when I can. Recently I've been listening to Talksport more at work to fill in the football gossip void, although I have to switch it off when Darren Gough's show starts, the guy's a retard. And now that Colin Murray has a slot, i'll probably be switching off after 10am. I did hear however that, as much as I can't stand the man, Jonny Vaughan is starting a show on TalkSport. Now, usually this would turn me off the radio station even more, but I caught his 606 show a while ago while he was filling in for a week, and it was a very good listen. Going to have to give it a shot in the morning.

"we were close to signing Bent" http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/alan-pardew-newcastle-united-were-5741097?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter Does he really think this is the sort of talk the fans want to hear so close to the end of the window?! Sure, if this was Mid July then fair enough, it may show we're in the hunt for players, but to say this now so close to the season starting, seriously?! "man, we signed no players this summer" "yeah but we were close to a few" "ah, ok." TBF it sounds like we've put the effort into a couple of strikers now to no avail, with two now entering negotiations before collapsing, which makes it even more worrying that we may have been concentrating Jo's valuable time and resources into these with no-one in the column B 'what if they go tits up" list.

best bit of equipment we purchased for the kitchen in recent months is a garlic peeler / roller cost less than £1 but use it every other day.

I've heard there's a few people in it who are also in Weeds, again something i haven't watched. Anybody recommend it?

Just started to watch the Netflix series 'Orange is the New Black' last night, got through a couple of episodes and I like where it's going. It's got a few familiar faces in it; Michael Harney, Laura Prepen (that 70's Show), Jason Biggs (American Pie) Plus, in the first 5 minutes, the boob count is well into the double figures.

I don't really use Twitter / Instagram or the like, but a friend pointed me in the direction of Sammy Ameobi's account to keep tabs on every now and again, and I have to say the lad is entertaining! had a browse through his instagram account http://instagram.com/sammyameobi and there's some funny nufc related pictures and videos. Love 'Sisse' on the boots and some of the Bigi video's!

haha just realised my error! extremly long day at work finishing a project and just seen the news about his medical at fulham.
-
Bent medical at Villa. I wasn't against him coming here, and quite surprised he hasn't ended up here actually. Joe probably had a hand in that. Love starting a new season with no new players on the pitch, great boost to a team finishing 16th last season.

nice one! Don't have Virgin (or BT broadband) but getting my sisters log in details for Virgin TV anywhere which you get it on. excellent news! can't wait to watch Liverpool V Sto....., nevermind.

obviously i'm not down on my orange references! It was more the fact that they have been used several times throughout the series, I'm usually good at picking up on subtle background stuff like this. maybe if I had know what they were refereeing too i'd have noticed them more often. And for all the series i watch, Soprano's is one i'm yet to! (hangs head in shame)
