Gotta say ive been disappointed with geremi too. I just dont see what he gives to the team. He looks scared to make that final pass and would rather play safe going sideways or backwards. Hence the ball comes back to him 5 seconds later which is why he has such a high pass rate. I wouldnt mind seeing faye being given a chance in his role until barton is fit. Not like BS is going to drop the capt like.

A decent enough atmosphere today for most of the match, much better than villa. The 17 or so wigan fans sang once, 'shall we give you an atmosphere'. I dont know how they dare tbh as they were silent for most of the game!

I agree with gejon like, when zoggy gets that ball on the left wing the opposing players shit themselves, and 9 times out of 10 he has a final product with it too unlike a lot of our players

Just got back from the match. The defence were awesome today, Taylor looks more suited to RB than CB. But the one down side has got to be Geremi. 3 games in a row now and he has been the worst player on the pitch. He has so litte vision and nearly always picks out the wrong pass. Hes also great at breaking up our counter attacks by dwelling on the ball for 5 seconds before passing it to the opposing team. As soon as Barton is back he needs to be dropped and a new captain installed. Cacapa looks like our best defender since Woodgate and Rosenhal isnt far behind. Played together today like they had been playing together for years. More of the same lads
