Aye, sounds like we've moved onto Elanga as our RW choice. We are apparently in talks for both Trafford and Joao Pedro. Those 3 would be a mint 3/4 of a window, and we would only need a CB after that
-
Sounds like PSR has been delaying this one. I wonder if a we have a bit of cash set aside to take advantage of other clubs PSR issues (Jacob Ramsay) but the big buys will happen next month

Starmer was doing his job as a human rights barrister and giving the bloke his statutory entitlement to a legal defence. That doesn't mean he necessarily agreed with it, anymore than a barrister defending someone up on a murder charge is a massive fan of murder.

Elanga was in a Semenyo top. It was his mate in the NUFC top
-
Everyone reporting it but I can't actually find the original source...

Burnley have just signed a new keeper, so I guess we will see whether us, Chelsea or Man Utd get Trafford soon

In a nutshell
-
Bruno Fernandes scored 2 non-penalty goals in the league this season apparently.
-
Tino through to the Euros semi finals with the U21s. He also managed to spark a 22 man brawl at the final whistle by chest bumping one of the Spain players
-
Jacob Ramsey at Villa is the rumoured player we want before the PSR deadline. If they manage to shift Martinez they may not need to sell anyone else though. One of the papers said Burnley needed to make £20m before the end of June so the Trafford deal may still have legs yet
-
We were linked with Botman well before we signed him tbf. We were fighting Milan for him.
-
"Chilling" won't change Howe being pissed off that the players he wanted to sign have gone elsewhere. That's my main issue. Not that we haven't spent yet. There's plenty of time left in the window. But every player we've been linked with thus far is pretty much signed or in the process of signing for another club.

I get some of these names were probably just paper talk, but Trafford, Guehi, Delap, Cunha and Mbuemo were linked for so long by so many different journalists you can only assume they were genuinely on Howe's wanted list. He chooses his words carefully when speaking to the media so Howe's comments that we need "speed" in this transfer window were said with purpose, because he knew other clubs were hovering around his targets and were ready to bid early. To be 3 weeks in and see £700m spent on (amongst others) - Frimpong, Kerkez and Wirtz to Liverpool - Reijnders, Cherki and Ait Nouri to City - Cunha and (almost) Mbuemo to Man U - Delap, Estevao, Essugo, Paez and Sarr to Chelsea - Tel and a couple of others to Spurs - Zubimendi to Arsenal While our announcements include exciting news that Mitchell is leaving after less than a year, we are 3 years into scoping out a new training ground we are still no closer to making a decision on a new ground. Let's make final judgement at the end of the window, but it's been a fucking anti-climactic start after what was one of the best seasons in our history. The likes of Isak, Bruno and Tonali won't be hanging around much longer if Willock, Wilson, Targett and Longstaff are still getting minutes next season.

According to Mark Douglas we were https://inews.co.uk/sport/bournemouth-70m-liverpool-newcastle-man-utd-targets-3695882?ito=link_share_article-top

Another one bites the dust Either Howe needs to agree to buy abroad, or we accept that proven PL players are £50-70m these days
-
It's fine. Im sure Mitchell and Eales have a long list of names to move onto after we were priced out of Delap, Mbuemo, Guehi, Cunha, Pedro, Elanga and Trafford....

Well that's thoroughly underwhelming. Looks like a Turkey special FFS

The rumour is coming from a podcaster with 13k followers so I wouldnt get too excited

Mitch leaving his post 2 weeks early. You can't tell me this is having zero impact on our player negotiations https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14821497/Newcastle-sporting-director-Paul-Mitchell-LEAVES.html

Conservatives are so fucking weird
