I'm warming to Wissa like. 50% of last season top 4 strikers
-
I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out he's flown to Switzerland
-
Gutted. Was there a couple of weeks ago. He looked ill, but not knocking on deaths door ill.
-
Remove penalties and he's 2nd in that list, 1 goal behind Salah.
-
At least we didn't wait until 24hrs after they sold their other striker for £71m to strongarm them into accepting our low ball offer
-
At least we didn't publicly offer €70m for Ekitike a week ago. That would have really weakened our bargaining position
-
Buying a Chelsea cast off and helping their PSR woes. Fuck that
-
I had a patient in A&E yesterday who said he'd been bitten by a wolf. "Where?", I asked. "No, a normal one" he replied.
-
Am I being whooshed, or are Villa's cheapest tickets the same price as our cheapest tickets...
-
I'll trust Howe and Pep over your BIL
-
We also hold none of the cards in this standoff with Burnley. They have had a big injection of cash with promotion, and Trafford has just had a standout season. If his buy out clause is £40m and we've offered £25m (as per CN) I wouldn't be holding my breath about them folding anytime soon.

The main issue appears to be woeful appointments at the top of the club, resulting in conflicting transfer ideologies between one of the best managers we've ever had, and a succession of Penfold lite plums who are going through a revolving door atm. There are also rumours that any final sign off for big money spends has to come from the PIF chairman, who seems to run about 20 different companies at the same time, which is far from ideal when working in a fast moving transfer market and trying to negotiate a deal in real time.
-
Who knows how much of that is true, but if it is, Mitchell has royally fucked us in the space of 12months
-
https://archive.is/CUV5P He's also the reason we didn't sign Trafford for £20m last Summer
-
Regroup in the next window when we might already be out of the League cup, Champions league and be sitting mid table? Howe performed miracles getting us into the CL by the skin of our teeth. It's unforgivable if we don't capitalise on that
-
This one has pissed me off more than Pedro or Ekitike tbh. He's added half the squad to his instagram in the last 6 months and has obviously been courted by us for ages and was up for joining us. We've tried to play hardball, again, and it's backfired, again.
-
I meant in the context of some people apparently upset that our new ground is getting built on Leazes Park.
-
So who is their backup striker if/when Nunez is sold?
-
Im in Sunderland today for the wife's CrossFit competition. The city centre is a shit hole, but Mowbray Park puts Leazes Park to shame. Not a weed or bit of litter in sight. Proper old school, well maintained, Victorian park.
-
They are selling Diaz to Bayern for mega bucks, which leaves a gap (2 if you count Jota) in their squad for attackers.
-
Ornstein suggesting the Ekitike deal could be €100m with add ons. For a bloke they paid £14m for last season.
-
They made €395m revenue that season. We made €375m revenue this season. Not sure why it wouldn't be cut and dry?

Sounds like Liverpool are close to agreeing a fee for Ekitike. The biggest worry if Isak goes is that most of the strikers anywhere near his level are already in the process of signing for someone else. We will probably end up with DCL.
-
The result is immaterial. But Pope's howler and the performances of our reserve players is worrying
