Cos unless we sell him over £60mil we are no better off. And who the fuck is going to buy a player who is banned for the next 9months
-
Come on then. Almiron aside, if we had to sell a "big name" player to finance the next two transfer windows, who is the first to go?
-
Almiron would be the first team player most people would choose to get shot off first, but who would actually give us decent money for him? Willock has missed that much football I'm not sure how much we would miss him, but who is going to pay big money for a player who can't stay fit? Likewise for Wilson. Id be gutted if Bruno, Isak or Botman went as they have been three of our best signings since the takeover and the team should be getting built around them.
-
Ideally we would keep Wilson, but a swap deal + cash is better than nowt. Solanke is younger and not a cripple. Decent step up for him too
-
Domestic games played and goals scored over the past 13 seasons. Looks to have missed half a season 3 or 4 years ago. Find me a better record for cheaper
-
Or the Argentinian World Cup winner available for £10mil...
-
-
Cheap at £60mil when you look at how much money has been wasted on Richarlison, Niholas Jackson, Nunez, Havertz and Hoijlund at the other "big clubs"
-
Nunez and Havertz having a "who is a bigger waste of money" off
-
Joao Pedro is some player at Brighton mind. Shame he chose to stay at Watford when we were after him
-
-
Pretty sure it's a lass
-
Any player at a big club will be CL cup tied during this window tbf
-
No brainer. Only 30. Proven goal scorer. Cheap fee
-
As people have said previously, the club just needs to follow the suit of Arsenal and Man Utd. "St James Park sponsored by Saudi Air". A sponsored pre-season trip to the Gulf. A couple of loans from the Saudi league in key positions. I wouldn't be selling our best player unless absolutely necessary. Tonali might be good, but I'm yet to be convinced he's Bruno's successor
-
Between the £25mil per season SELA deal, £15mil CL money, £160mil TV/4th place money, £30mil a season coming from the new Adidas deal, £7.5mil a season from Noon.com, I struggle to believe there is zero wiggle room with FFP for new players.

The "Howay" and "Cheer up Peter Reid" signs man We've been a basket case of a club over the years, but these nee chance we would take the piss out of SBR or Keegan in our own fucking ground to please the idiots down the road

Sharing/referencing an article quite literally the opposite of making something up
