  1. My Brother in law got tickets for the Palace match and the Dortmund match in the ballot to take my Nephew. Bastard. He doesn't even like football!
  2. I don't know how I feel about this one tbh. Gambling addiction is awful and he deserves support with it. But gambling on your own team is fucking idiotic and he would have known fine well the outcome if he got caught. It's not like there's no other sports in the world to gamble on if you're that way inclined.
  3. Yes. So put some respect on my footballing opinions please
  4. Who knows, but we were heavily linked with all of them.
  5. I thought it was a class window at the time. Tonali hasnt really added anything new to our midfield, Barnes has flattered to deceive and Tino/Hall have barely had a kick. Aye it's easy being captain hindsight, but that's £150mil worth of players. Surely no one would argue that 3 from Maddison, Diaby, Szoboslai, Joao Pedro and Edson Alvarez would have brought more to our starting XI?
  6. I agree, and I feel similar about Barnes. I know hindsight is a wonderful thing, but we'd have been better off with a proper CDM and upgrading Almiron
  7. It's a separate insurance company, but all managed through the lease company as a 3rd party. I just pay 1 monthly fee. Leases always seem like a good idea until you've got to send it back and get every fucking bump and scratch fixed. Tesla wheels are made of cheese too so I'll have to get them sorted next year. They literally stick out further than the tyre wall
  8. Huffed. Had a couple of small bumps on my car (one off the wife driving and one of some c*nt bumping it in the car park and driving off). I still have 14months left on the lease so didn't bother claiming on the insurance in case I get any other marks on the car and could get them fixed in a oner later next year. Just had an email from the lease company to say that as of 1/10/23 the excess is rising from £100 to £500 🤯 Im arguing the toss as surely they need to give prior warning of any price rises and the bumps happened "yesterday"
  9. If you just want to play games online then you can pay for Xbox Live which is cheaper than Game Pass iirc
  10. https://www.gazzetta.it/Calcio/Premier-League/18-10-2023/tonali-ha-scommesso-sul-milan-rischia-un-anno-di-squalifica.shtml Reports that he bet on Milan matches so is looking at a minimum of a 12 month ban (if he admits it).
  11. We might be about to lose our new midfielder for the rest of the season...
  12. I know. But the converse is also true
  13. Because you can't just erase the last 15 years. A period where Palestinian deaths are 2000% higher than Israeli deaths. Really?
  14. Missed this first time round. Apologies. I should have been more tactful. My views are what they are, but I appreciate having family in the middle of it would give things a different slant
  15. Well that's my theory blown out the water then!
  16. Im arguing against the suggestion in that article that more people should have Israeli flags up in their windows
  17. I rescind the suggestion that Gloom has come across as anti-Palestine...maybe I'm inferring something that isn't there. I find the article comparing pro-Ukraine support with an absence of pro-Israel support crackers, though. Apples and Oranges (imo)
  18. During that 2014 spike, soldiers aside, 5 Israeli civilians were killed. In return. 1500 Palestinian civilians were killed and 11,000 were injured, 3400 of which were kids and 1000 of them left permanently disabled. When does the line cross from self-defence to war crimes?
  19. Howay man Do you genuinely believe Israel is the oppressed party (ie Ukraine) in this long saga?
  20. How's that the fault of the Palestinian civilians being murdered though? There's wrong on both sides. With millions of innocents stuck in the middles. The Israeli invasion is no more defensible than the Hamas invasion.
