Also I think at least two of Quincy’s offspring had the distinct good fortune of having Nastassja Kinski as their mother…

As I’ve said at this stage it’s the system more than the player. He shows more aptitude than Harvey Barnes though who is weak on the ball when starting but seems to be able to contribute a lot more when coming off the bench which is where I’d have them both at the moment. Not writing either off totally and it’s tactics more than anything else. In a way it does to an extent call into question the wisdom of signing both though. It wouldn’t be the first time we’d signed players because they’re available . That’s how we ended up with Ba and Cisse

What about those who thought the thread was puerile and irrelevant and point blank refused to lower themselves by actually voting? -

The problem with the farmers IHT appears to be that their relatively uneconomic land is ludicrously overpriced. Would it be possible that agricultural land prices have been artificially inflated by the likes of Ckarkson hiding his wealth in these tax free holdings?… irony isn’t a strong enough word for that really. Maybe “deeply disingenuous wanker” would be more appropriate Here’s one of @ewerk’s neighbours (it might even be the great man himself, I mean, who knows? ☺️) he certainly doesn’t sound like he’s making this shit up. 25k a year on keeping beef on 100 acres is such a chicken shit wage he has a second job. Where I was brought up some single fields are that size ffs. Then he says the land value is £3 million That’s the problem as far as I can make out. In principle I largely agree with what the farmers are saying about their legacy and ongoing food production in the future. But they’re also sat on blatantly overpriced assets which they’re desperate to cling on to… mostly because they’re blatantly overpriced 🤷🏻♂️ from 0:24:40 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0024ftn?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile

A perceived bad week for Labour ends on something of a high

Labour have lied by omission all over the shop. Mostly to the middle classes. Fake outrage from grown adults about politicians stitching them up is fuckin nauseating though. I think the NHS is going to have to have mostly wiped out waiting lists or shortened them to 3/4 months for hips and knees etc for things to sink in with these types if they want to get re-elected though. I think Labour were on a hiding to nothing from the word go. they were holed beneath the waterline by the press lying in wait for them almost from the morning after the election. WFA didn’t help, but TBF as others have said I’m quietly enthused by this budget. They’ve taxed the better off not the most vulnerable. Not allowed by the Tory press but normal social democracy in the real world. My heart bleeds for the likes of these fuckers. Not …
