1. I steam green veg and carrots in my microwave, and sometimes do rice in it. 2. Fish in a microwave- fuck off. 3. Renton, CT always deserves ridicule.

Patriatisticism, innit?

Ditch the microwave, you'll save millions.

If you've got a proper chin minge, you'll be having it for the next week, too.

He's also quite fond of Wor Optimus

He also got an Adam West style Batman suit. I'm tempted to take him for a run after closing time tonight.

It's Fist Jnr's 4th birthday today, got him what he'd been asking for, an Optimus Prime Transformer that's all singing, all dancing, 1000megatons etc etc. After playing with it in its robot form , he asked me if I'd turn it into the truck. " Aye, no bother son, pass it here" Looked at it, Tried moving a few bits Read the instructions which followed this principle, 20 minutes later, the fucking thing is still a robot. He's getting an Action Man next year.

Wonder if he did that for a bet?
-
That would make Ant this fellow.

Depends what you're after from your stay. Most of the bigger city centre hotels have parking, Jesmond and Gosforth are nice suburbs a 10 minute walk from the city centre. You could stay on the coast and use the Metro system to get into the city, it's about 20 minutes ride. There's a lot of serviced apartments available for short hires now too. The Tyne valley has some beautiful villages if you're after a rural setting, but it's only half an hour at most from the city. Avoid anywhere south of the Tyne, unless you are Burt Reynolds in a canoe.
