Smith would probably get sent off at some stage in the game if we put him on Gerrard. Might be worth it if the sending off is for a tackle that injures Gerrard though. I would be quite happy to play for the draw, which is aiming higher than my expectations for this game already. You don't know how much I would love it, just love it, if we managed to get the draw or even a win though. I really don't get you. If you are going to come to this forum and troll, then at least try and sound educated about it. If, and it is still an 'if', we get relegated, then these oldies are likely to move on anyway, and that is if they aren't out of contract already. I doubt you have taken the time to look deeper than our first team squad, but if you did then you would notice we have a reserve team playing some decent football while using some of our younger stars, and you will notice that our youth team appears to have been heavily invested in and is performing pretty well. One of the good points about moving down a division, despite their being very few, is that we will probably be able to strip down all this old deadwood to leave us with a core of players who are actually interested in playing for the club. I was sort of hoping a relegation fight would seperate the men from the boys, but if it needs more than that then so be it.

I thought Harps was alright last night. He didn't have a lot to do, but he did the job he needed to do well enough.

I've never been a 'traditional' sniper on any COD game. Yeah I might lay down and camp somewhere for a short while, but I find I have more fun moving place to place and then pulling off the short and sweet kill which is done in seconds. Even mroe fun when you meet someone round a corner and no-scope them ;D Suppose it comes from the fun I used to have playing with just a rifle on COD2, which is by far the best COD game.

Can we bring up awful remakes? The second Italian job was a pile of piss (mainly because Michael Caine makes the first one so great), and the fact that are nearly all American doesn't do it much good.

The Brummie thing is also odd because you can make some great jokes whilst using the accent. My personal favourite: (In a Brummie accent - say it out loud -) Whats the difference between a Bison and a Buffalo? You can wash your hands in a Bison but you can't wash your hands in a Buffalo.

Got a Brummie teacher at school who just rambles on and on. Fair enough to the man, the history of the English Language isn't exactly the most scintillating of topics, but I am certain there can be more va va voom added to it than having him speaking at us for an hour in his long Brummie drawl.

Definitely worth having him on the bench. When Ranger is mentioned anywhere it is almost always immediately proceeded by the 17-year old Shearer hattrick story, so who knows. Great if he had the same effect.
