The truth is it’s full of tours and museums, any pub you see will have excellent beer and all the restaurants are brilliant otherwise they don’t stay open. I was there for 2 months in 89 and went for a long weekend in 2008 so my specific knowledge is out of date.

Try a walking tour, eat some food and go to a few pubs is my recommendation.

Xg is a pointless statistic for individual games, it’s meant for long term analysis of a team but is supposed to be used alongside other stats. There are various Xg models and they can all result in different outcomes but only by small margins. It also has inherent limitations like different skill levels, luck (good and bad) and the dynamic nature of the game. In short both sides of the argument should really stop going on about it being fucking useless/the best thing in the world.
