Not sure I fully believe it yet. -
I have seen hundreds of stand up I would guess probably more than any other poster.

Looking at my Mum and siblings, I'm genetically predisposed to be big boned. Knew a lass from Ashington who was genetically predisposed to being boned.

My favourite is when they get the bull machine and Dave Spikey says "I've not seen them this excited since they printed that paedophiles address in the paper".

John Lennon released some absolute gash like He did indeed. I think the difference between the two is outlined by Renton though in that you got the feeling there was no way Jackson would ever do anything decent ever again (plenty evidence to back that up as well). He died 10 years earlier than Wacko though...most people would agree that your forties on isn't really going to be peak of anyone's pop powers. Some artists buck the trend. Van Morrison, Tom Waits to name two. Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Leadbelly, BB.King, Lightnin' Hopkins, Johnny Cash and a few more all peaked very late. I don't think many of those had an international number one BEFORE they were forty, let alone after. Either way, it's not even about quality which is subjective, it's about transcending music. It might be that you don't like Michael Jackson. But he's been the most prominent pop culture icon for 30 year, whatever his output. At his peak he was an unstoppable force no doubts. Diddy: Michael Jackson showed me that you can actually see the beat. He made the music come to life!! He made me believe in magic. I will miss him! Samantha Ronson: His music is just as relevant now as it was the day they pressed record, I'm sure it will remain so for generations to come.R.I.P.Mr Jackson. Dane Cook: I'm dedicating my show 2night to Michael Jackson. THRILLER got me laid. Well... At least thats what I told my friends. Heidi Montag: the world has suffered a GREAT loss today Michael Jackson my thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and fans God bless. Ice T: Rest In Peace Mike. People can say what they want but you were 100% original. WE will always love , miss & remember your GREATNESS. John Mayer: Dazed in the studio. A major strand of our cultural DNA has left us. RIP MJ. I think we'll mourn his loss as well as the loss of ourselves as children listening to Thriller on the record player. Ashley Tisdale: So sad. Saying a prayer for Michael Jackson. Miley Cyrus: michael jackson was my inspiration. love and blessings Ludacris: If it were not for Micheal Jackson I would not be where or who I am today. His Music and Legacy will live on Forever.Prayers to the famR.I.P. MC Hammer: I have no words.. I loved Michael Jackson.. RIP.. Kelly Rowland: Michael you left such a legacy on this earth, have touched SO MANY!!! We thank you for such a driving inspiration in music & our lives!! This has got to be one of the saddest days in music history!! Michael Rest In Peace! WE miss you! Star Jones: Death comes to all. But great achievements build a monument." He IS and WAS the greatest entertainer of all times...Peace to you brother. Jordan Chandler: Ow my arse.

He'd be better off going to Greece for any number of reasons than pissing around in a relegation battle for Hull or Stoke. Let's face it, his England career is over either way, so he should take the increased wages and CL football, plus in an inferior league he'll look better. Not like I care where the little bastard goes, by the way, just saying. In a footballing sense he'd be much better off at Olympiakos. CL football, less wear and tear on his body, more prestige than Hull and Stoke. He's always been a bit of a cunt though. FYP

Brown has to take a lot of blame for the de regulation of the banking system and the failure of the FSA to stop the banks making false profits on selling loans which were more toxic than Chernobyl. When people were short selling they stopped them and told them not to do it again. They then removed the laws curtailing the short selling and quel suprise they started doing it again. This meant that Billions of tax payers money had to go into the banks millions of which went straight back out again in the form of bonuses to the people who caused all the bother. Also remember this is the man who decided to cripple the lowest paid in the job market by doubling their basic tax rate. Some people on here seem to have rose tinted memories.

When I miss home I miss panacalty (sp) or sometimes savaloy dips or mushy peas they dont do them up here. When I miss Germany I miss Jaegerschnitzel hhhmmm prima! Oder Giros mit pommes. I am now officially starving.

Normally levelheaded people also voted for the NSDAP doesnt mean they were right or that normal politics is to blame. Just means people are lazy enough to just listen to empty rhetoric and blame genrally the wrong people for society's perceived woes than actually try and do something themselves.

What is the most ridiculous hatred you harbour?
Kevin Carr's Gloves replied to Park Life's topic in General Chat
Young people who think they know everything. There is nothing more annoying than snotty kids who dont understand what happens to your body and mind when you get old. they should all be whipped. -
Went for a beach holiday in Cuba best holiday I have ever had. My first all inclusive and it was amazing. Forget Cristal drink Buccanero beer if only for the name. Only time we went off the resort was to go for a 3 hour horse ride in the hills which was also amazing. I love the place and have been to America since. Loads of Americans go via Canada.

I was laughing at the commentator going on about how Man U came back against Tottenham and Wigan. Yes cos they are the same as Barcelona.
-
Yup. Suffering and disappointment isn't something Man United fans have to cope with too often, so it's great when they do. Ever since the cheer up Kevin Keegan chants I have absolutely detested them.
-
How much did Berbatov cost???
-
I love watching Man U getting beat.
-
I hope he loses every penny he has ever earned on the horses.
-
Surely if we get the time machine up and running instead of wasting time on leaves we should put thousands of pounds of bets on til we have enough money to buy the club instead of Ashley.
-
Good post Stevie. I have been thinking about this for a while and I realised I am not a football fan I am a Newcastle fan. I do not watch any other football games just ones where Newcastle are concerned. if next season we are not there then the premier league to me will cease to exist and match of the day will be as relevant as eastenders. Howay the lads

Is relegation normal for Newcastle?

Really can I not track the cunt down and kill him? The wife would be upset but if you all chipped in a fiver a month to look after the little one I might be tempted. -
Sympathy in short supply for Geordie faithful

Still upset his brother got a smack at the riverside. -
http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/20...oker-bnp-racism Agree with all except that. The idea of someone persuing politics as their sole occupation should preclude them from that. As what you end up with is what we have now people removed from the reality of life in any country not just Britain. Also professional politicians are a relaticely new phenomena obviously all of the old ones must have been crap at it.
