3. [cheesey pop]I am the one and only[/cheesey pop] person in the uk with my name.
4. Isn't it naphtha anyway?! 66943 Of course no problem with petrol, pretty much every major oil refinery stores enough for about 1 months of the nations supply. So theres 3 or 4 months supply jsut sitting in tanks at refinerys. Incidently if one of them were to explode, specifically the one at stanlo in cheshire, it would take out half of north wales and half of northwest england. IF the BP one in Coryton were to go, its bye bye half of london...
5. pre match only for me aswell, late kickoffs are a bitch for the trains...
6. , I should've seen that one coming... This only leaves one option really. Tooting Broadway.
7. Time to go south of the river; Battersea.
8. The thing thats not been reported on this case is that they only killed this guy because he answered back to their taunts. Before him there were other people who just ignored them. Point being he wasn't killed because he was black. These 2 were out to cause problems and prison is the right place for them.
9. I might be around pre-game, due into newcastle at 2pm so i equally might not. Will be about for a while post game though
10. So you left a half bottle in the club? You probably spent like £3 on that you just wasted it. Disgraceful...
11. Statistics - Often Lie This album arrived today from the states. Sounds heavier and better guitars then the first album, more akin to the live show. Which probably helps none of you, but if you get a chance give it a go.
12. Rikko, do you not like Chemistry then? I really loved the subject, and found it incredibly easy as a result. Unfortunately starting Medicine at Uni meant there was no way to take it further. Anyway, you're right to be doing it, there's not many jobs available to Geography graduates - I think most end up as PE teachers. 61646 I do like chemistry, my dissertation this year is on "Novel Uses of Complex Gold Catalysts for Environmental Applications" Its pretty much pure chemistry. The problem with it is the stuff in it is waaaaay beyond what i know. There is a reasonable amount of physical chemistry and kinetics in my course anyway and its alot more useful degree then pure chemistry.
13. 17% for a pass is crazy, if its true. I think the 40% pass mark at uni is a little low too. Should really be >50% to pass, at least then you can claim to know the majority of the course. Maths was also the hardest course i had at school, physics and chemistry were a doddle in comparison. As for doing a degree solely for money that is crazy, but it is an influence. Its certainly why i'm doing Chem eng at uni rather then something like geography.
14. With a maths degree at 2:1 or 1st, you can expect a start salary in this country of about £20k, with the sky being the lonb term limit.
15. Only £50? I'm currently £1400 overdrawn and don't get paid until the end of january/ start of february. Going out at 9pm aswell, so I don't know why im posting in here...

DVD writing

That error means the buffer on the dvd writer empties before your computer can refill it, so the disk cant write anything to it (as it can only write from the buffer). Try writing at a lower speed or closing down other applications while writing the dvd.

second pc

Its fairly straightforward to set a network up between pcs. You got two basic options, wired or wireless. wired is faster and more secure but involves having wires everywhere. Wireless is slower and harder to set up but is neater. For linking 2 pcs via wired you need a network card in each and a crossover cable. Sharing braodband can be done in 2 basic ways. 1 buy a router-modem that will broadcast the internet to both pcs at the same time (through wireless) or have 4 wired ports (usually 4 some have more some less) where you can stick 2 patch cables in. This also acts as a switch and will network the 2 pcs. The other option is to share the internet accross the network to the other pc. It means that the pc with the modem needs to be on for the other to get the internet. The router modem option doesnt require this.
18. Having just had a raial expiernece against me and whilst still being totally pissed, they well and trualy deserve whats coming. Some twat in the takeaway took offence to me asking a member of staff what he thought was the best thing on the menu. twatboy (aka pakistani/indian gimp boy) then threatened to beat me up and left the takeaway. Whilst i hold no grudge against any race in general, behaivior like that aint helping any prejudices i hold. Its certainly damaged my view of pakistanis/indians from one person who would've taken my eye out had i not been wearing glasses....
19. Was alot warmer today. The fog yesterday was hellish, set to be a positively roasting 3°C tomorrow.

Telewest

Freeview + 8meg Bulldog here. Not a chance in hell i can afford sky. Can only afford the internet because its split 3 ways. Had sky 2 year ago and I don't think its really worth the money. I only watched the CL and newcastle games on it. Can go to the pub for the newcastle away games that are on it anyway or ensure the SSN updates.
23. It's better then making a joke about your period or how we are all so stupid. I think that might be why women comics aren't funny. They immediately alienate 50% of the audience.
