  1. and there was me thinking I was the only sceptical one here
  2. Hate to say I told you so but http://www.toontastic.net/board/index.php?...mp;#entry547089 I told you so. Seriously though, when will people realise that the whole thing is a pile of shite? Im not saying MA doesnt want to sell because he does but for a price that is totally unbelievable in any business sense. Nobody is interested and we are about to go deep deep into shit in January.
  3. thats ok then we're definitely safe there.
  4. Dont give Ashley stick man, hes trying to sell
  5. Isnt it illegal to tap up players without their clubs consent?
  6. Surely he missed a trick here? COuldnt he have threatened to do her for counterfeiting?
  7. no, I'm not. I'm just saying that, its now only a matter of time, as things stand. You do see this don't you ? But even if they did, so what? those areas where they would gain power would be those with a vast majority of Muslims therefore why not have a councillor that understands them? Plus, my understanding of the Islamic party is that they promote integration rather than acting insular. Maybe they wil have more luck in getting those that currently dont attempt to fit in.

  9. You have so just shot your own argument out of the water.
  10. May 24th and not a day more, unless you somehow are deluded enough to think you'll be working on the 30th you tit
  11. And based on that then you can safely assume that what he says is a million miles away from whats actually happening.
  12. They will if the go into administration. Fact is they run at a loss. They will no longer receive funding from the owners and banks wont touch them. The money wont last for ever so if they arent sold they will go into administration and they will be docked points. There is nothing untoward here. That's the point I was making..... they were claiming on the radio that they'll escape that on the grounds of some loophole they've exercised in the registration process! It's not a loophole, basically the club as a business is separate to that of the ownership. Now that the owners are in the shit the club will have to be self-sufficient and if it isn't then the club will be put into administration, you can't really dock points from West Ham for doing nothing wrong. Exactly, the way I see it panning out: A: They sell a shed load of players in January B: They get bought out C: They go into administration. 2 out of three of those options will leave them at a massive disadvantage. Lets hope that is the case. Im not keen on the 2nd one, any potential foreign investor in us will now be thinking "London club, much more inviting and cheaper too", this is the sort of thing that Im talking about when people say the sale is nailed on because Due Diligence has allegedly started. Fuck due diligence, these people will drop out at the slightest sniff of a better deal.

  14. http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2008/nov/19/bnp-list I do find this bit funny mind. So Simon, what you're saying is that you dont believe in the Human Rights Act or EU legislation until you need it. Nice concept.
  15. At least you can always take solice in the fact that as long as justice is done by the courts in putting these people away then "proper" justice will always be handed out by their fellow inmates. From what you hear life as a child killer in a womens prison makes the Shanghai Hilton seem like..well the Hilton. :
  16. Ok then so thats Given to Man U and Harper to Spurs...nice one mouth
  17. No, worst case scenario is you hook it upto iTunes and restore the normal firmware. So the website is just covering it's arse when it says "Warning Jailbreaking your iPod Touch is not fool proof and things can go wrong. We can’t be held responsible." Having read a ton of comments though Ive yet to find one thats screwed their phone. At the end of the day all you're doing is replacing the firmware witha dodgy unchecked possibly virus laden version....nowt to worry about
  18. I honestly believe he is. HBOS? This is the bloke who will gamble with millions, I think hes stupid enough to think we wont go down regardless. At the same time Im not saying he wont buy with some of the cash, a 2million rated keeper, CB from Spartans, couple of cheap foreign imports. Plus, what does he care if he manages a sale and then we're relegated?
  19. Add to the fact that the bottom club at Christmas has always gone down (bar one?) and its looking worrying, I can see us being rooted there by the time Santa comes
  20. If he done the above then he then would have a genuine reason to fear for his safety....... Oh and I forgot to mention the wages, that little lot will be on what? 250k per week between them? Every 4 weeks thats 1million quid in his skyrocket. Why wait til the end of January, sell at the start and you've made another million on top.
  21. I disagree, any sale is dependant on nothing more than the finances being agreeable so heres my belief. If, by January no sale has completed (and I believe its highly unlikely one will have) then MA will sell, sell, sell. The reason being that it will not affect the balance sheet, in fact it could enhance it. For instance, currently the books may look like this Shay Given £10m Steven Taylor £5m Michael Owen £0 (based on contract running out) Shola Ameobi £2.50 Oba Martins £9m If he can sell those for £12m, £12m (according to the wacky world of Sunday papers!!), £5m, £25, £10m then hes increased the balance sheet by £15,000,0022.50 which goes into the clubs coffers. Therefore club even more attractive to the buyer. I agree, not more attractive to any sensible football minded buyer but to a business one, its a no brainer. Or to be honest theres no reason why he cant withdraw that £15m for himself leaving the difference in the bank, balance sheet stays even and nobody loses, except the fans and club long term. Heres the double side to it though, that £39m (in real terms) would be sitting there should the sale fall through. Ashley will be able to withdraw it from his club and transfer it to himself. Sort of insurance if you will against the sale falling through. All of these things hes perfectly within his rights to do as he owns the club outright, he'd be doing no wrong in any of that.
