  1. Her fiddler is top notch.
  2. Shania Twain on BBC one - just saying...
  3. He was seriously amateur compared to Mandelson and Blair.
  4. Canny TOTP from 96 on bbc4 now. Had The Wildhearts, Alanis Morrissette and Pesidents of the USA with Peaches..The Cure and The Cranberries still to come.
  5. My used to be a staunch mild tory who's always voted for them lass has just told me she's voted Labour by post.. Mainly Partygate but says I've influenced her as well
  6. Just like that one against France in the WC - a keeper with normal arms would've saved it.
  7. Isn't it a fucking basic part of a commentator's job to know when the ball hits the side netting rather than the back of the net?
  8. The bitter cynic in me definitely thought there was an air of last year's first six being deliberately hard so going by this year we've obviously been written off as nothing to worry about. Good.
  9. The version of that I heard was that the mackems whined on to other firms and managed to get a few on board for a "mag hunt" and the only lot who backed Newcastle were indeed Shrewsbury who didn't have numbers but were "game".
  10. That's a very common trait - the whole right to buy thing was based on the notion that homeowners ate/vote tory.
  11. Looks like a good six nowt here.
  12. This was my point from the other day - the idea a tory wipe out means the end of cuntishness and the dawn of a "progressive" future is nonsense. Note that Labour have had to pander to that cuntishness on immigration, trans rights and brexit just to get to 45% as well.
  13. #Imagine The thick fuckers would need to invent a time machine to build that forward line. As I've said before it's "surprising" Milburn never mentioned supporting the cunts or having the chance to ever sign for them.
  14. Just too early for me - first game I can remember being aware of and watching on TV was the 1970 FA cup final between Leeds and Chelsea. I don't remember watching the 1970 world cup which was after that though I have a feeling they didnt time the games for Europe then so they would have been on too late.
  15. I did over-simplify a bit but the 41 for labour also contains some centrist/tory voters who will have to appealed to to repeat Blair's multi-term run. That's why I think those expecting some decent policies under the radar are naive. I think a New Zealand scenario where a "fresh" government wins big then loses badly next time out as they didnt change anything is still possible.
  16. I think in hindsight you're probably right but as I said it seemed minor at the time. I was pulling a carry-on suitcase as I'd been away for the weekend which was certainly a factor but I think it was still dodgy. 3 or 4 people stopped to help which briefly restored my faith in humanity as well.
  17. I know it's not as simple as Reform voters switching to the Tories if they didn't exist and I don't think that Reform will stand down but anyone thinking this election represents some great reset of politics should note that 24 +15 is 39 and 41/39 wouldn't even produce a labour majority going by previous results. This country still has a sizeable portion of cunts despite the generational shift.
  18. A good samaritin who stopped to help said he was a lawyer and went to speak to the cafe personnel but there were no managers around. As I thought I'd got away with it apart from the embarrassment I didn't bother - it was only after a couple of days it became apparent I'd injured myself. By then I had no witness details or anything.
  19. Anyone know anything about damaged shoulder rotator cuffs? Just over two tears ago I fell arse over tit in the street on the way to work ( tripped over a covered electrical cable to an outside covid cafe extension) and I damaged my shoulder. I saw a physio a few times who gave me some exercises and after a few week it was fine and never bothered me. At the start of April this year I increased the frequency of gym visits from 1 or 2 maybe 3 times a week to virtually every day, though still on very moderate weight settings and started to get a bit of pain in the same shoulder. Then I had my cataract surgery and because of it not settling down as quickly as the last one I sat in my arse for 4 weeks. A couple of weeks ago I was told it was okay so went back to the gym but after 4 or 5 visits my shoulder was really painful. So I stopped the gym and returned to the rehab exercises but I'm not sure there helping - they provide some relief but also cause it to be very painful in the morning. I'm going to go back to the physio this week but I was wondering if anyone here has any experience of the same rlthing...
  20. Rangers used to do that too when Murray owned them and they had the money - stopping development of Aberdeen/Hibs/Hearts etc by just buying their best players then leaving them yo rot.
  21. Just like the scouse cunts in the league cup final - too many missed chances for Dortmund.
  22. If he doesn't want to play for us then fuck him. One of the universe's basic laws.
