You could always sell it and spend it on something more reasonable and sociable like a gym membership.

Gym's are the not the most sociable places I could think of.

Can't really sell it if it's knackered now can I?

Bought a new AV cable and Call of duty 4 for my 360, got home and got the three rings of death which basically means the bloody thing is buggered. I tried to register it online so I could get it repaired and I get "the action couldn't be completed" or some such nonsense. Probably because I bought it from Ebay

wtf am I supposed to do now?

Fish,

I know a lot of people are having problems with xbox live and CoD4 (including me). Apparently (according to my nephew) the developers of CoD4 have admitted there is a problem and they are working on it. Live has been a bitch recently.

I'd google about resetting your xbox. I think you can do a software reset. After all, your 360 is just a pc running a cut down version of windows mce.

The ring of death is not permanent. I was on live a couple of days ago and a bloke form leeds I know (xbox live 'know') has a similar problem and apparently he googled about it. If you deliberately overheat your xbox, it performs a hard reset. Fixed his up no problem. Not sure how he did it or how safe it is (so dont blame me - investigate first!) but it's worth a look before you give up.

Good luck!

Cheers mate I'll give it a go.

I bought:

Casino Royale

The Good Shepherd

Blood Diamond

Heat

Troy

£25 all told from HMV.

One of the most boring films I've ever seen. Although the dodgy subtitles by some Indian who couldn't speak English properly made it passable. :good:

On my shopping list is:

Pair of leather gloves

Decent headphones

Sopranos complete box set.

Anybody know the cheapest place to get the headphones and sopranos from? (I know sopranos can be "aquired" illegally but would prefer to have the dvds). Not too sure about the sopranos though beacuse I heard they added an extra "part 2" bit onto the end of series 6, so not sure whether that would be included in the complete box set.

Sopranos complete box set.

Not particularly cheap anywhere...

Is the best price, but you're better off getting series 1 to 5 from Amazon for now and series 6/the box set will drop in price given a few months.

EDIT: Though I guess the box set only works out at £19 per series and they won't really drop much further than that.
