Canny surprised by that tbf. Although I have to be in a certain mood, I can't just go in and wack on a Pink Floyd "record." They do my fucking head in in general. As it's 'drug' music as it were I've tended to hear it at mates when stoned or, in the past on shrooms and acid etc., i.e. when you're 'meant' to listen to it and I've always thought it sounded fucking awful tbh. Especially 'The Wall'. I hate the whole "you've got to be on drugs to like Floyd" shite, even though that was how I was introduced to them. Their early stuff, barring Piper is a bit shit but everything from Meddle to The Final Cut is fucking fantastic. I wouldn't class any of them, apart from Dark Side as an album that could possibly give you a good trip when off your tits. Far too wordy, far too complicated and far too storyline based.
