For what he did for us whilst a player I think not Although I agree it is a tad early You just need to look at Souness and Liverpool/ Hoddle and Spurs to see how being a great player but a poor manager can turn feelings sour. It's about 50 fucking years too early - completely missing the plot and typical of Shepherd being out of touch as per usual. When's the statues for the other 'greats' going up then Fred? Gallacher?? MacDonald??, Harvey?? Making us look like a laughing stock tbh - and how many Milburn statues do we need? Why not just move the one from St James Boulevard back to where it should actually be??
