I've never had much time for him but didnt feel he deserved this, seems theres many at the club though who are more than happy to see him injured.

We went on one of the tours today (not bad value really £10 for 2 hours wandering round the place) and the tour guide made no bones about his and many many others dislike of the lad. From comments such as "this is the dope testing room, or as we used to call it Kieron Dyers dressing room" through to telling a story about how 3 weeks ago there was an organised autograph day for the kids and literally thousands turned up, (I remember seeing the queue which was right round the Gallowgate) all the players were there and hung around talking to the kids, signing autographs and basically acting as ambassadors for the club apart from Dyer who (allegedly) virtually pushed kids out of the way to get to his car and piss off without signing or talking to one kid.

Its stories like that which taint peoples views of players, Im inclined to believe this one seeing as the source looked to be reliable so if it is true then there probably many a parent believing in karma now.

I must admit for the pittance he was on, you couldn't expect him to do extra curricular activities like that.

£50 a signature, maybe.

He could then burn the 50 quid note in front of the kids' eyes.

And give them a dodgy signature.

I'm not pleased he lad's smeshed himself again, but I am pleased we managed to flog him before it inevitably happened again.

I concur.

At least someone else can pay him to sit on the treatment table for once. He has just not been good enough, and excellent talent wasted by a knackered frame

Kieron Dyer says he is trying to stay positive after breaking his leg last month.

The England midfielder suffered a double fracture at Bristol Rovers last month, just his second game for West Ham since his £6million move from Newcastle.

Positive

"I've been trying to stay as positive as I can," he told West Ham's website.

"The physios and the specialist were really pleased with how the operation went and said there is no reason why I shouldn't make a full recovery.

"I am just focusing on that for now and getting some rest before I hopefully beginning my rehab and treatment some time next week.

"They don't really give exact time scales with this type of injury because some people heal a lot quicker than others and there can be complications when you have screws put in so you just have to play it by ear really, but as I said I am staying positive and just focusing on being back and playing for West Ham sooner rather than later."

Determined

Dyer is determined to bounce back from his latest injury, better than ever.

"As I said before, the doctors were delighted with how the operation went and if there are any consolations to this, they did explain to me that the best place to break your leg is in the middle of the shin because there are usually more complications when it is closer to the ankle, like what happened to Dean Ashton, but my break has happened in a much safer place," he said.

"If you look at a player like Djibril Cisse, who used to play for Liverpool, he had exactly the same injury as me and he has obviously come back and made a full recovery, which holds me in good stead as I plan to do exactly the same and be back playing for West Ham and England."

West Ham midfielder Kieron Dyer's return to action could be put on ice after learning that the England play maker has had complications with his shin, hindering any return this season.

Ex-Newcastle player Dyer has had to have a pin inserted into his shin, putting back any potential return having broken his leg away to Bristol Rovers in the Carling Cup all the way back in August.

30-years-old later this year, Dyer was expected to make his return to Hammers action later this season, possibly in late April or May following a positive rehabilitation scheme that has seen him recover well from his unfortunate injury.

Speaking to The Echo, Alan Curbishley said:

'Kieron is suffering. He's actually running and doing okay but the problem is that where they've inserted the pin for the fracture, that's causing some irritation.
