Good grief. I kind of liked him after the Hurricane Katrina thing, but... :) I just love how the crowd boos and even Beyonce is clearly mortified. Just a shame Taylor Swift isn't a little older/bitchier/more media-savvy, or she could have wiped the floor with him with a snide "Well thank you for that contribution" or similar like a more seasoned country music witch would have done. Although I suspect one of the reasons she looks so perplexed is because it *could* be part of the show that she just hasn't been told about, and you don't want to upset the corporate machine...

But what can you expect from the man who said that now Michael Jackson was dead he was happy to take over in the role of king of pop. Assholio.

Thick as well. Beyonce's video wasn't even on the shortlist in that category.

Yes it was.

:D

That's seriously weird. In the clip from the show I saw earlier, Beyonce's video was definitely shown as one of the nominees, and it's in the list on various sites (e.g. http://buzzworthy.mtv.com/2009/08/04/vmas-...ump-britneys-7/ or http://www.awards-night.com/vma-2009-best-...ward-nominees/). Are MTV trying to retro-censor the whole thing? :)

It was also played on Saturday during their Best Female Video Nominations program.

Well to be fair he never actually said that;
