Richard Offiong's profile says "gentleman 1st footballer 2nd"

Quality

He's been tweeting about racist abuse.

He could go on like Chubby Brown and he'd still be more of a gent than a footballer tbh.

the worst thought out transfer "link" I have ever seen has just popped up on my feed

http://www.givemefootball.com/premier-league/newcastle-and-spurs-alerted-by-italians-future-com

Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero says he will not retire from football following his departure from the Serie A giants.

The Italian World Cup winner is ready to leave Turin this coming summer after it w as reveal he would not be handed a new deal.

The revelation has sparked a queue for his services, with Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United two clubs currently linked with the player.

On his future Del Piero said: "My future after June 30, 2012 is that of a football player. I will continue playing."

AC Milan are one of this ready to swoop for Del Piero, ahead of Newcastle and Spurs.

However, Newcastle's bank balance is such that they could plot a big money move for Del Piero, while Tottenham will be eager to add to their attack which could be missing Roman Pavlyuchenko, with the Russian rumoured to be on his way from White Hart Lane.

Took him about 2 years to adapt his game post-injury but he came back really well eventually. I couldn't see him adapting again to the pace and physicality of the Premier League now though. West Ham'll probably sign him and make him into a long throw-in specialist.

tbf they're probably reporting 'big money move' in terms of wages. ADP would not be cheap in that respect.

But it's a laughable link - the bloke is 37 tomorrow, would have absolutely no re-sale value and would completely obliterate the wage structure we evidently have in place...

Cristiano Ronaldo is now just one goal short of Brazilian Ronaldo's 104 goals in white. R9 104/177 games. CR7 103/106 games.

I still prefer fat Ronaldo but that is unreal. <_<

He'll be off to the States or a Middle Eastern league for that last payday.

The fat Ronaldo stats? I couldn't find anywhere else saying that he scored 104 goals or played that many games, unless she's doing a Pele and counting friendly games. Then is she doing the same for gay Ronaldo?

Who knows? Who cares? Bloody woman.

His personal record is immense, but you wonder at what cost to his team? Whenever I watch Real he always seems to hog every freekick and try to take on 10 men when often a simple through ball would end up with a goal. This is where Messi edges him for me.

Anyone know where you can find the assist stats for the 2 players?

Ewerk - Yeh it's the same for Fat Ronaldo, basically anything domestic or European is counted & I think it includes the now defunct Intercontinental Cup but that only accounts for one or two goals anyway!

ESPN is usually good for stats, breaks down all the competitions and stuff

Joey Barton at his absolute 'best'. Even if I've never watched The Only Way is Essex and I have no idea who Dean Gaffney is.

Some of his tweets are hilarious.

Apparently Barton is 'jel' of them.
