Oh aye, the mackems beat us 3-1 in the Ponteland Airport Derby. Slightly let down by one of them loudly tutting at JD having our kits on display

Not sure they’d be too keen if they only stocked Ponteland United F.C. tops either, mind

That thread man, back slapping themselves and calling themselves classy because they sold Jobe Bellingham and returned a loaned player on request. Apparently all other clubs and agents love them now because of this. Peak mackem boom this, all the sweeter when the bust happens l, and it always does.

Apparently Lewk Onion is worth ONE BILLION pounds.

So are they absolutely massive or just a feeder club at this point?

If Liverpool or some other European giant feel like paying £100m for one or their players in the next year or so, it will mean that sterling has COLLAPSED.

They follow the Brighton/Brentford model and suddenly their players are worth £100m  Ignoring that Brighton, especially, are beginning to sign more flops than hits

I mean their model is clearly the Notts Forest model - Overspend and hope to fuck you stay up and win the extra match or so needed next year to offset against the points deduction.

The difference between them and Forest is that they have absolewtely zeyro saleable assets like Brennan Johnson to help ease the hit.

Wouldn’t be surprised if this is about as far away from the relegation zone as they’ll be all season

Are you deliberately ignoring their £1 BILLION centre back?

Of course I am, because nobody can afford him - Even the scouse cunts with their ever elevating glass ceiling.

Well, aye it was more Brighton last couple of seasons where they were very stat driven and seeking out players in unfancied leagues. They’ve been pretty scattergun this summer but I’d hedge a bet that at least 2/3 will attract the attention of bigger clubs. Fucking nowhere near £100m though, the mad cunts

They've benefited in the early part of the season because teams have no fucking idea who their players are or how they will play.

Clubs will now have a better understanding soon so they'll start struggling.

My boss is an MLF and he reckons teams that have big, strong lads who are also pretty quick then they're going to get battered every single time. That's why they got paggered by Burnley.

He's absolutely resigned to the fact that they are getting shagged home and away in the derbies on the basis that our team is pretty much the biggest, quickest and strongest in the league, if not Europe (his words)

Need to rewrite my macroeconomics text book. Signs of UK economic collapse:

  • Falling GDP
  • Rising unemployment
  • Declining consumer and business confidence
  • High inflation or deflation
  • Stock market crash, alongside a financial crisis or bank failures
  • Mackems sell a player for £100M.

Their net spend at £141.4m is more than double that of PSG at £64.9m. They have no excuse when they inevitably crash and burn.

I think the SAFC aficionados on RTG valued Jack Clarke at about double what he went for and I don’t think you could really say Ipswich got a bargain. Onion would probably be our 6th choice central defender

Isn't Onion a really shit central midfielder masquerading as an even shitter centre back anyway?

He's league one standard whatever. Doubt he'll get a game in the PL, the results would be hilarious.
