Mr Gittes 0
Great move by the club, was about time to honour the man in an appropriate way. http://www.nufc.co.u...2281670_2749603 Edited April 26, 2012 by Mr Gittes
Brock Manson 0
Very sound gesture and thoroughly deserved to boot.
Gemmill 2,752
Good stuff. I have every faith it'll be a more fitting tribute than the mackem's shambolic effort at honouring Stokoe. The fact his wife approves of it has to be a good sign.
ADP 0
good crack that. bet bobby would have loved this season.
McFaul 21
Sir Bobby deserves one, but not to diminish the fact he's getting one, no one deserves one more than Keegan. I think my hatred for Ashley would go 20% if he put one up for KK.
PaddockLad 2,664
Statues are for the dead iyam. Joe Harvey should have some sort of personal memorial at the ground. But this is a good bit of PR for the present owner and his mate, a 9 foot bronze statue wont come cheap...fair play to them.
Dr Gloom 2,942
nice to see some positive pr coming from the club for once
Gemmill 2,752
He better not be wearing any sports direct gear.

Andrew 889
This is going to torture poor shola, every time he walks by he'll hear "Carl! Carl! Whys Carl ignoring me?"
Tooj 16
It's a nice gesture from the club, however to me there's more individuals deserving of one.

Tom 3,012
It's a nice gesture from the club, however to me there's more individuals deserving of one. At the same time I can forgive them for playing to the gallery & I'm fairly pleased about it.
Ayatollah Hermione 3,727
At the same time I can forgive them for playing to the gallery & I'm fairly pleased about it. As well, you could argue that he deserves it for status in the game alone and this being his home turf, warrants it here. I agree others deserve it for achievement but I'm still happy to see one of Sir Bob.
Kid Dynamite 1,164
Chuffed for Bobby but I echo the Harvey sentiment. The bloke won 2 FA cups as a player and a European cup as a manager! That's a canny percentage of any trophy we've ever won as a club!
angrysteve 0
Great gesture - makes you wonder what Ashley's up to though as good gestures are usually followed by crushing disappointment in some other area...
