You take out Tiote and replace him with a less physical player and you lose any midfield dominance in bigger games. We have to take the rough with the smooth with Tiote. If you think about it...some fans are saying, 'cash in on him if a big bid comes in' yet if a big bid comes in, it's gonna be by a big club who will be getting the very same physical in your face player as we have and will obviously think he's worth it if they shell out. Tiote's eyes never leave the ball. Maybe a yellow card, but definitely not a red. If Tiote had actually wanted to cause Fletcher some damage then he would have ploughed on right through him and left his foot in. He was literally half a second late to connecting with the ball, It wasn't high, that's where the ball was! Just like the ball was chest height when Shola got booted in the neck.
