What a ball from Amalfitano to Yacob. He couldn't have made it any easier.

1-0 West Brom.

It's rare you see a cross as good as that - players generally cross into zones these days - he's put that right on his forehead.

Jack WIlshire really just needs to get on with his football. Too many players twisting about every single decision - like it's going to be revoked and changed.

Berahino looks a good 'un

Apparently he had a stormer in the league cup but I didn't see it. I've seen him for the under 21's and he looks a good player.

I think he's from Berundi like Bigirimana. Came over at a similar age.

Jammy git

I'd like to watch it but I've seen a few - and I never seem to see a good one. I'm sure I put the knockers on it - if I don't watch it'll be game of the century.

The result at White Hart Lane is a shocker considering how the two clubs have started the season. The league is more unpredictable than ever. Or perhaps competitive would be a better word here.

The basic argument made on here by a few that the increase in TV money has levelled the financial playing field is beginning to tell. An increasing % of revenue comes from TV revenue meaning smaller clubs with smaller crowds are less at a disadvantage to other clubs. Apart from for the largest clubs competing regularly in the CL, in theory this should make the league more competitive. Hence more 'crazy' results. That and Tom's point which few people will want to acknowledge.

only 12 points seperated 7th and 17th last season....you might find that sort of thing has happened one or two more times in the last decade as well. What constitutes a good and bad season will be minute differences in tight games.
