We are as boring as fuck these days. We're the polar opposite of the Entertainers. I think the players bore each other. We're even boring in a 10 minute slot on a highlights programme, which is quite an achievement. It's obvious there's nothing to play for or care about.

The financial side of it is fine if we're actually using it to sign top players with. I'd love to write something about the toon that isn't depressing, but we are just the most average club on earth, when it is obvious the 13th best supported club in Europe last year as well being the world's 19th richest club, just don't want a go. Hatred of people isn't good, you should try and like people, but with Ashley it's a deep hatred from me.

47763 there yesterday. That'll be partly due to a sky game on a Sunday but still...is the worm turning?...

Not really, Stoke only took 3rd of their 3k available, they take their full allocation and you're looking at c50k. That's likely around par for a Sunday game in February against Stoke or their ilk.

Janmaat was not to blame because it is not his job to take care of a centre forward who is 6feet 4inches. Where were Colo and/or Willo? If you have ever watched us against Stoke and Crouch is playing you will see Colo/Willo usually go missing on set pieces.

Well Janmaat should have informed Williamson and Colo that thery weren't marking Crouch so it was still Janmaat's fault. It may come as a surprise to you but there are times when a player you don';t usually mark has to be marked by you. This happened for Crouch's goal. Are you saying Janmaat jumped to try and win the header or are you registered blind.

Crouch, posessing a half decent footballing brain, pulls on to the fullback, standard stuff which Collo should have read and reacted to. Fuck knows where he started from to be able to move into the net to try to clear it when Crouch is quite clearly the danger man in that situation. When the lad is shaping to cross I may have been looking to see where a 6ft 7" centre forward was.

Correct.......which left Janmaat marking Crouch and he decided the best way to stop Crouch from heading the ball into the net was to look at him instead of jumping with him.

So Colocinni & Williamson systematically ffailing to do their job and thereby putting Janmaat in a difficult position, is now Janmaat's fault.

Your bias is ridiculous.

We didn't drop points because of Janmaat, we dropped points because of an apathetic Sissoko, an awkward Sammy and an abject Williamson.

Because Sissoko couldn't be arsed, Perez was entirely isolated until Cisse's introduction and Colback & Anita hadn't a reliable outlet. Sammy gave the ball away so much we invited loads of pressure down our left, his daft fouls and poor positioning contributed more to Stoke's ascendancy than anything they did well imo and how he managed to stay on when Cabella (our best performer again) was hauled off is a fucking mystery. Williamson's complete inability to play football meant that we're on a hiding to nothing whenever we needed to control the football in our half.

Janmaat probably had his worst game for us this year, and yet he was still one of our better performers on Sunday. However, because he's the player you've selected to be the scapegoat, he's the problem.

Grow up, young man.

Spot on, especially about Sammy and Sissoko. Would love to be wrong here but it seems increasingly likely that Sammy isnt going to be that much different from his older brother in terms of consistency or reliability.

Stevie's spot on. The game was boring as fuck and we are now too. The crowd was so apathetic it's embarassing but you can't blame people for feeling that way. It comes from the top and you know the players feel it too.

The whole club is rotten now and I don't see it changing any time soon.

Janmaat's basic passing was appalling in the first half. I know some on here with a crush on him won't acknowledge that though. Lost possession a couple of times by miscuing simple sideways balls

Janmaat is a very good full back but his problem remains a lack of consistency. Like a number of our foreign players who tend to save their best games for when they play the top 6.

Thought Janmaat was poor yesterday like. Not as bad as Sissoko, Colo or Williamson but I wasn't impressed with him at all.

Can't really say anything positive about anyone other than Cabella, Perez or Colback anyway though.

Thought it was his worst game this year, gave the ball away more than usual.

Agree that Cabella was decent, Colback had his usual 7/10 game.

The rest were poor or woeful.
