We’re going to Holland  ( the delights of having a ginger kid- no hot places)

Ferry from Shields to Ijmuden, an hour down the coast to a chalet.
Trips to Amsterdam, Utrecht, bike rides, dope and whores, the usual

Then 2 nights in Bruges.

I’ve heard it’s a shithole but it’ll do for me and my cunt kids.

Brugges is stunning. A beautiful underground car park below the square too.

Utrecht is great too.

I love the Netherlands. One of my fave countries.

Like Alex said the Rijlsmuseum is good. I would also have a look at the bodyworks place too. Some interesting stuff on plasticsied bodies and yes there's tits and fannies.

Thats just poor planning. We've just booked 6 adults and 3 kids to Orlando. £5k in flights and £3k for a Villa for us all

Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam aye?

Last time I was there, just me and Mrs. F. we went to the Van Gogh.

Never been so fucking bored in my life- there was an entire floor given over to his multiple feckin studies, painted in predominantly brown, of bowls of potatoes.

Ewerk would’ve loved it mind.

Aye, Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam 👍🏻

I’ve actually done both as I’ve climbed it about 5 or 6 times. But I’d say do the quicker route, heading north via Low Water

Yeah, even with the 8 year old?

Wryonse is fucking awful as the road is fucked.

Saw a lass attempting to cycle up Hardknott Pass as I was driving up from the Eskdale side. To say she was struggling was an understatement. If her thighs got any more red they were going to catch fire

Yeah. I mean you’re not really gaining much in terms of it being less steep going the other way in any case imo. You still need to get to the top ;) the section where you get to Low Water is quite steep and hard work but the good thing about it is you’re almost at the top by that point. Loads of kids climb it.

Ive managed to wangle some cheap flights to Alicante.

Any ideas where to stay in the area for a young family of 4 (8 and 4 year old) ? A good pool for kids a must... Im not fancying Benidorm unless someone tells me of a gem.

No then

Have you got a destination in mind or is it a hit and hope trip?

We want to make it to the Cote d’Azur but are just seeing where we end up the next day.

”Planning”

Best way, you find some absolute gems that way.

If you’re heading through the Verdon on the way, Moustiers Saint Marie is a lovely little place right at the mouth of the gorges.
