Is he not better than all 3 of them? Hard to believe he's finished at 32. It's not like he ever had any pace to lose

He was absolutely dog shit against us last year. Totally anonymous, couldn’t get a grip on the game at all and was resorting to fouls after about 25 minutes. Not to mention blowing out of his arse after 70 minutes. You’ve just got to look at how little he contributed compared to the season prior to see that he’s on a clear downward slope. If he was anywhere near the player he was, Palace would have kept him around.

We just need to teach Jos to go down as easy as Salah and we would fly up the league.

They’d probably book him for diving. One rule for Liverpool another for us. What bothers me more about the Salah thing is the pundits scrambling to prove contact and why he would fall over, it’s pathetic he’s simply cheating same as they brand unfashionable players as divers.

I think we should give Clark a run up front. 2nd top scorer now, got to be better than The Jos and Perez.

Good point.  I was wondering whether we could do a NFL specialist team thing for when we have a corner, bring him on to score and then take him off when it comes to defending, but your option isn't a bad one (well of course it is, but in the current circumstances ...) :)

Indeed.  If it is one of THOSE clubs, it is the professional thing to do - feel the contact and go to ground.  If it is us - he should have been stronger and went to ground too easily. <_<

If every opposition player went down after contact, our defenders would concede a penalty everytime the opposition had a corner.
